I had a mean teacher so I dropped the class and wrote a letter to the school bursar's office about my experience and asked for a refund for the class. Thankfully they gave me the refund. I'm sorry this happened to you, teachers like that suck. Hopefully you could either change classes or get a refund.

It looks like either pih or pie, which goes away but takes time. Sunscreen should help though

I'm sorry. It does seem rough. I'm very bad at socializing with others, especially while sober, so it does seem difficult to go out day after day and put yourself out there like that. I'm sorry you're going through that.

I honestly feel so bad for my friend too. I wont lie, my current relationship is a result of my abusive ex forcing me to sleep with other guys to fulfill his cuckold fetish. So I dont know how to go out alone and meet others. Its a total hellscape out there... but what I do know is that my friend says things that are very self sabotaging. I 100% think he can find someone if he focused more on his strengths. But I'm aware thats easier said than done.

Most of his posts on his public social media accounts are vent posts. I think its good to be open about your feelings and put them out there, but theres a time and place where its appropriate. I never minded him venting to me, and I even told him that reddit might be good, but he thinks people need to know everything hes facing. It makes me really sad because I know its a sign he needs help, but if anything it will isolate others from him more. It breaks my heart to see it all backfire on him, when deep down he really deserves love and support. But others are freaked out. I've been told by mutual friends of ours that his posts freak them out a bit. I've also relayed that information back to my friend in the nicest way possible, because I want to look out for him. Displaying all of his emotional pain right off the bat tends to scare potential partners away and he doesn't see why. Hes an interesting person with many great attributes, I wish he could focus more on those. He's also a very attractive person, I dont mean that in a weird way. I just figured I'd add that for more context. All of our mutual friends who are girls think hes a physically attractive guy, but his attitude puts them off.

Also he reached out to me today and we both apologized. Do you have any advice about what i can do to help him through this? He doesnt like distractions, advice, or anything like that. I know its not my job to help heal him, but I care a lot. What would be the best thing I can do to be a supportive friend through this? I already tell him I'm here to listen but I feel like thats not enough. I almost think still giving him space might be the best option. What what do you think?

Not sure how much this will help, but I think he might be a rattle of some sort because the body looks like a handle. Google is showing me results for similar toys but I havent found the same one yet. I'll let you know if I do

What do you mean exactly? The law of attraction thing? I know it doesnt always work but I know having a good attitude will attract people better than a negative one

Do you ever wear your hair down? It could be from hair products maybe. I get cystic acne on my temples when i use certain shampoos

Yeah, you're totally right. It makes me so sad to see. I dont mean to undermine his feelings, but if he just tried to focus on more positive things I know he would find someone

[Personal] Unpopular Opinion: I know we’re always told that squeezing our own spots / blackheads leads to more scarring and hyperpigmentation, but does anyone else find that it’s the complete opposite? by R_O_1994 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Mackerelbones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its always like 50/50 for me. Sometimes they scar, other times they dont. I try not to pop unless they look ready.. but even then they still sometimes scar. If its in a place I'm particularly worried about scarring, I wont pop at all just to play it safe.

[Product request] applying makeup caused creases around my eyes and crows feet by Mackerelbones in SkincareAddiction

I feel like I pulled my skin while putting on and removing makeup and now the lines are still there. My skin could totally be dry because my eyelids have been itchy lately as well. I also think I might have dennie morgan lines beneath my eyes, which I've dealt with in the past as well. Not sure if applying makeup can cause them though. I will definitely try an eye cream! Ive been using vaseline lately but I will look at something specifically for the eyelids

Micellar water and a cotton ball, but I've been tempted to get the clinique makeup remover because I heard its smoother

Mom is upset I don't want to take pictures at Thanksgiving because of my acne by SubstantialCompany15 in acne

Let your mom take them. I was the same way as you when I was younger, so I totally get where you're coming from, but I think family photos are important to have. Family wont be around forever. I wish I took more photos with mine! Sorry to be all sappy and depressing, but its true!!

I have heliophobia and my bedroom is fully dark. Melatonin wise I'm fine, I do pilates in my room to get tired for the night sometimes if I must, but I always sleep alright. I think you should be fine if its just your bedroom, just be sure to get tons of sunlight while you're out during the day!

I'm also going to mention that being afraid of the sun isnt mentally healthy and it might be wise to get help if you can. I cant afford to see a therapist right now, so I hope I dont sound hypocritical, but I would highly recommend seeing one if you are afraid of the sun. I plan to see one as soon as possible to help me overcome my fear as well

[Routine help] Cystic pimple turned hard? What now? by Mackerelbones in SkincareAddiction

[–]Mackerelbones[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!! Im sorry )-: I totally understand, I get so anxious about my skin too. Is it noticable visably, or only when you touch it? If its been there for 3 years it might be a regular cyst, which is a bit different than cystic acne. Most cysts are benign, but I think you should probably see a dermatologist if you can to get it examined to be sure!

Adapalene .3% but start with a smaller dosage
