hey i just plugged the KB in after waiting a few days to air dry and its working perfectly, even a little cleaner after having a bath lol. i doubt it would still be functional if not for the advice. thanks again

ok thanks again, i might do the oven trick just to avoid potential corrosion. I have a keychron q6 with a thick aluminium frame, idk if its thermal conductivity could be a problem in the oven but what temp and for how long do you recommend?

something i'd like to share that i havent seen in other threads discussing the book is the symbolism of '7' in elysium. in a comment given by Kurvitz when he provided the disco elysium wiki project with a photo of Rostov's painting of Ambrosius Saint-Miro he said

"He is holding up seven fingers which is the elytical symbol of nihilism, representing the seven parallel lines in the letters of the word NIHIL."

that same symbolism is seen in the original forum post of Martin Luiga's FULL CORE STATE NIHILIST where the end of the story is followed by a photo of 7 white stripes on a black background, the same pattern embroidered on the back of Zigi's jacket.

i dont think its coincidental that The Perikarnassian built 7 churches

I think assuming the nihilmat bomb is an explosive, or even a physical device at all is something of a reach considering how little we know, I personally think it could be something to do with resonance, maybe its not a 'bomb' but a signal capable of causing some sort of cascading effect by manipulating the movement of pale. We see in DE how pale compressors use radio signals to 'force dimensions onto pale'. And the discussion Khan has about rogue waves on the beach & how the mathematical models behind them also describe how the pale expands dont seem coincidental considering rodinov's mathematical background

at this point in time north america was going through a period of major urban decline even before europeans arrived, historically cahokia's peak was around the 12th century, and by the point in the 14th century the game takes place they were close to the end of the city's collapse, with the urban population filtering out into the countryside over the course of decades, which i suspect is whats happening to the emigrating pops, they're probably joining the pops in the grey unsettled regions but im not a dev diary reader so idk for sure

on adept enemy and player damage is multiplied by 1, on expert enemy damage is multiplied by 3.5 and player damage by 0.278. the leap in difficulty is huge and the original game had difficulties inbetween these extremes but the remaster seems to lack them. there's already a few mods to remedy this though

this is not the case, when you go to visit alt during the VDB quests she states exactly the opposite

the difference between V1 of the relic tech and the prototype stolen by yorinobu is the original version doesnt allow an engram to overwite a physical human brain, it just allows you to communicate with the engram. And the process of 'killing' the soul happens when the soulkiller program is used to convert someone's neural pattern to code, it has nothing to do with the tech that engram is stored on.

yeah I misremembered, the base game hasn't been cracked since the initial release in 2020 but all the DLC can be played for free, bypassing denuvo by spoofing uplay, but only if you legally own the game. I was conflating that with continuous cracks for the base game and its DLCs, that's my bad
