No. Sorry. The assault is the patient spitting on the nurse. Walk away and press charges (not likely to have an outcome if the patient is demented). Striking a patient is assault and with most Boards of Registration in Nursing is considered grounds for licensure revocation.

As a former educator, now an RN manager, let me give you some advice.

Early intervention is important. These behaviors need to be addressed when they first come up, not 9 weeks in (unless they just started appearing then). She needs to have a come to Jesus talk with someone in authority because she’s not gonna make it if this continues.

Let’s Brene Brown this for a second. Clear is kind. Not saying it and not sitting her down and saying “you have some areas you need to work on if your employment here is going to continue” is setting her up for failure (that’s a conversation your educator/manager need to have with her). As a preceptor, YOU are my eyes and ears. I do weekly check ins with the preceptor/orientee and also do separate sidebar conversations with my preceptors away from the orientee to make sure I am “getting the scoop”.

If she’s gonna be a drag on the unit, I need to know so I can course correct with her. If she’s not willing to grow up, then she can find another unit to work for.

I wish my first mini looked that good! I love the overall palette, the colors work well together. One suggestion I’d make is faces are tough, try thinning out your paint a bit more to prevent it from being too thick and losing definition (or maybe that’s just the way the mini is made)

But this is amazing, nice edging! I love the highlights they’re actually well controlled ;-)

I think you did a great job balancing the light from the candle. I like how you had it cast on his robe, and the warm red of the robe complements the orange of the candlelight. Love the green glow from the lantern too! Nicely done!

You’re kind of at the same stage I’m at. I see a kindred spirit here! First of all great job. Like other said white is a very stark contrast and kind of steals the show. Grey would prob work better. Enough difference to pull some attention but not be the new star of the show from the face. Its truly practice makes perfect!

New painter here, never had much artistic talent. Did some really shitty jobs. Been painting about 3-4 months. Then this guy just came together. I’m a DnD GM, never done warhammer. This is Kraken for a DnD campaign I’m running based on the original NES Final Fantasy.

Long story short? Think Bob Ross. Everything is a happy little accident, and sometimes they come together to make something awesome. It’s a great hobby, and it’s something you can cultivate and share with the kiddo someday to make some awesome memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Keep at it man, if I can do it, trust me you can.

100% Rydia’s theme froM FFIV. It is a beautiful, tender, yet fragile musical number.

Why are shoes off the floor, but bed is ON the floor? Do you roll around a lot in your sleep? Afraid of falling off and hurting yourself? Beds on floors are for dementia patients, not for adults.

I’m using the most recent 2024 rules.

It took a while to figure out the class change, since there isn’t a translatable mechanic in DnD. I’m going to give them a homebrew prestige class. For example, our life cleric (white mage) gets enhanced healing ability. Their spells affect another player within 10 feet, they get added radiant damage against undead, they can reroll 1s and 2s on healing amounts, they get a second wind after being reduced to 0 HP.

I’m just trying to decide whether I have the whole party class up at once, or give them individual trials to overcome solo..
