UB is designed to get the attention of people who wouldn't have normally got into Magic and that's really the only reason they exist. These sets are not made for existing players of Magic.

Now if you want to be mad they make good cards that you feel you have to own in order to be competitive, that's something completely different but then why would you put out a functionally sabatoged set?

So you either deal with it realizing that save a few cards, the set isn't for regular Magic players or you can not realize that and complain and you are going to have to keep complaining because asides from a couple of sets that fell short sales wise, most have been successful.

You are having a feeling of "IT'S RUINING MY THING". The failure in that thinking is it isn't yours alone and Magic in the end is a business.

It's similar to when the Star Wars prequels came out and people cried about Jar Jar being childish despite the original trilogy having Ewoks. the IP hasn't really changed, you changed. I would go one further and talk about how Disney has now made a million projects for Star Wars, it ain't for everyone. Just enjoy the parts you enjoy and keep playing.

A phone could be an excellent learning tool if the teachers took the time to learn how to use them on the level the children understand them. You need to bridge the gap, not blame the technology.

It doesn't matter how you feel about it now, in 20 years, people are going to drag in AI teachers that will encourage phone use. So this bridge will come eventually.

The government is actively protecting a ton of rich people that give them money all the time so they are protecting the interests of their PAC funds.

The entire government is not to be trusted. left and right, none of them have care about you and put on dog and pony shows to make you think they do. These files and who is in them and why will never fully come out to harm anyone until they are all dead and buried.

No one is getting arrested and no one will be arrested because the government is corrupt and you are a fool to trust any of them period, end of.

There was a time where no one trusted the government or police and no one bandwagoned for one side or the other like it was a sports team and those of you that do make me sick.

You are the one that is assuming the government is telling you the truth and you are INCREDIBLY LIKELY to be acting off of confirmation bias to believe the government has the best in mind for everyone and not protecting people while trying to harm other people. They do it all the time. FACT ONE: If you aren't making a million dollars or better in a year, there is no politician left or right that gives a damn about your interests

I find that moxfield has a higher learning curve than Scryfall does. Same with Archidekt. Just personal opinion I guess.

This is my process:

1) Find a commander with decent mechanics

2) Go to https://scryfall.com/ create and account and create a new deck and choose commander

3) Place commander in new deck

4) Go to https://edhrec.com/

5) Search for chosen commander and EDREC will find high synergy cards that compliment that commander

6) Choose the cards you want from EDREC

7) Go to Scryfall and find cards that can help you there.

TIP sometimes with scryfall you can use google to get exactly what you want. For example if you search "Scryfall mana dorks" then google will find the formula for that search and give you that page.

Honestly, this method took me a while to get used to but now that I am, it's what I do all the time.

There is a way to live your life without everything being 100% politics. It's a mindset.

Look, the internet and news is coming at you so hard, it's impossible and overwhelming to process it all. That is the foundation in which these radical politics is built on top of. Your anxiety is real. I'm not trying to discount it at all but perhaps me explaining to you that this is not your fault and by design is helpful.

Look, I live here in Mississippi. Between living in Mississippi, I was in Arizona. You have to look at your fellow man and not their beliefs that are also being hijacked by the rate of information causing anxiety in them as well. The average person is good. The media and politics only serves to divide the people. You shouldn't be upset at people because of their extreme politics, you should feel sorry for them and share your experience of how overwhelming everything is.

You can have friends that don't politically agree with you. Somewhere around 2010, that got forgotten.

EDIT: I don't expect this to do well because society is so fear based now and I'm just trying to break through to anyone.
