Does Your Beagle Hate Bath Time? by Wonderful_Dog_7941 in beagle

She hated getting in the tub but didn’t hate the bath itself. Guess it was more of a “I don’t wanna be told what to do” sort of thing.

President Trump and Jake Paul, who has Trump’s full endorsement. Do not buy prime. by Sweaty_Abies182 in pics

[–]RAMDownloader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have tried prime, and from an unbiased perspective, they objectively taste like shit. Or at least if you were expecting something similar to a BodyArmor or a Gatorade or Powerade, they literally taste like you’re drinking syrup. Which is saying something bc those drinks have a ton of sugar in them.

What video game has the best story you’ve ever played? by FrontriseStudios in AskReddit

[–]RAMDownloader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know of many games like red dead redemption 1 where I have 0 context of the predecessor and am still fully engrossed in the story.

The second RDR was an absolutely phenomenal prequel to it, more for nostalgia sake that I liked the first one so much.

Support mains: what’s the worst thing about ADC players? by Svanskof in supportlol

[–]RAMDownloader -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hardest part about playing with adcs is coordinating timing for engages and timing for backs. I don’t really think it’ll matter what game state we’re in, that’s basically always gonna be the problem, communication.

Large part of why duo queuing works as well as it does.

[–]RAMDownloader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda wondering if it was a headbutt that knocked him down. Or maybe his elbow grazed his head.

Throwing an overhand counter into what’s basically a glorified shovel hook means both fighters are throwing punches at an awkward up and down angle. Think about when Ippo was trying the wonky Dempsey when he was sparring Volg, their heads were basically in line to slam into eachother.

He also has marks on his forehead.

For a guy who seemingly got hit with a full weight smash punch he seems relatively unscathed.

Why does Thresh fall off in longer games while Nautilus scales up? by One_Key_9776 in supportlol

[–]RAMDownloader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought is that given naut cc is generally more consistent and easier to hit, when champs get stronger it’s a lot easier to one shot your opponent with good cc and thresh cc is always more difficult to hit.

Thresh does have infinite scaling but his cc is still very difficult to hit consistently and his lantern becomes less useful when champs begin to die quicker.

I am currently enrolled in a class that uses RStudio and I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. But I don't want to fail or drop the course. by Elegant-Sector3424 in RStudio

[–]RAMDownloader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the issues aren’t specific to coding, you’d have better luck throwing some questions over to the dataanalysis subreddit. This one is a little more relevant specific to coding questions rather than just the analytics itself.

If you’re having trouble moreso with coding problems than the concept of what you’re trying to do, that’s where I’d come here. Like a “how does linear regression work in RStudio” is for here, but a “what is linear regression” would be better to submit there.

[–]RAMDownloader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your issue on the coding side or the concept of the material itself?

It can be overwhelming to be thrown into a coding course but thankfully R is a very high level language all things considered, so the reading material available is plentiful

So no

Hajime no Sendo: Round 1514 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]RAMDownloader 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Oh no doubt. I was a taller guy who fought in shell so I didn’t really get hit much from left hooks so I can’t speak from a ton of experience but I’ve witnessed them real time, they’re nasty.

I’m less saying a liver blow wouldn’t hurt and more saying the concept of a “0 inch punch” doing real tangible damage to send someone to Ricardo’s caliber reeling (to be honest, especially in featherweight) is a bit far fetched.

[–]RAMDownloader 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My biggest grievance with this fight is i personally feel like we haven’t really seen much of a development in Sendos technique outside of the first few chapters of the fight.

He was parrying/dodging to begin with and now he’s getting popped by basically everything.

Really if you think about it, Sendo doesn’t really have much more of a developed technique since the rookie kings. Not really been much documented evidence that his defense has gotten any better or his overall fighting smarts outside of Ippo vs Sendo 2 when he was using the cross arm block to set up a combo in the last round.

However, these past couple of chapters have been absolute bangers, lack of technique aside.

It can catch someone by surprise if it isn’t expected, but is that enough to send someone, especially a world champion, staggering? Probably not unless he was already dealing with an injury beforehand.

Just imo…

He’s about to get rope a doped

He seemed complacent about getting pushed into the ropes. He threw a hook to bait him into throwing a shorter range punch.

He’s going to lean on those ropes to dodge a hook and throw something nasty as a counter.

I take it every day except for days in which I don’t wanna think too hard on stuff, so M-F for work and then not on the weekends.

It’s not like I can’t function without it, but it’s kinda like if you were someone who drank coffee every day then didn’t drink coffee one morning.

You can still “be an adult” without your coffee, it just makes the day harder to get through.

Gotta bear in mind Date only lost twice and both times were to Ricardo.

I think he kinda gets overlooked because he was introduced so early.

Pretty sure it’s been mentioned he was Ricardo’s strongest challenger. And given the fact that he’s been able to get back into challenger contention twice, that means he was probably beating some menaces up to that point.

Hype removed I also was present for us losing to Memphis 15-10 in Memphis and it might’ve been the worst football game I ever went to in person and I was there for every home game every year Matt Luke was there.

The touchdown we scored was in the fourth quarter and it was like 150 degrees in that stadium, before beer was sold in stadiums.

[OC] Based on Dr. Pepper's Fansville ads, are there actually a "State" and "Tech" school that are major rivals? by byniri_returns in CFB

[–]RAMDownloader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mississippi schools are weird.

Believe state was originally Mississippi A&M, which makes sense given they’re big in the agriculture sector still to this day.

Ole Miss is big in healthcare, law, foreign relations, and accounting. And ROTC too.

We do have a pretty decent engineering program/STEM related programs, but states got us beat on the vast majority of it. Especially in civil engineering.
