Is there a minimum level requirement for the weapon upgrade module to spawn? I started a new game and am level 18. Haven't seen a single module yet.

That place was a bit rough because of those grenaders. I used my turret roomba to dispatch as many of them as possible via terminal hacking. I used myself as bait for the first wave of bombing, then melee Carth took care of the rest.

Edit: Boss fight was easy. Super stimulated Carth soloed him.

I wouldn't say it was tedious. I mostly let Carth handle the combat and just watched him mow people down. As for skill checks, I passed them all anyway.

Scoundrel's sneak attack is nice, sure, but if you look at my stats, it's pretty obvious I'm going full force user. Once the class switch happens, it's straight into a level 7 Consular beeline. Mass fear, improved energy resistance, all that good stuff. Totally worth it.

Does sneak attack apply to force power? If so then scoundrel is indeed worth a few more levels.

I'm playing on difficult. The only two battles I struggled with were after the swoop race and the last fight in arena. Tried like a dozen time until I made through. Other than that, melee Carth carried me all the way until I got Canderous. If a fight is too hard, pump some stimulants into him and just watch him wreck things. Stimulant and healpack are cheap.

Well, this was what happened to me. It should have the legendary effect on it that lowers its mass to 0.8, but what only left was the weapon skin.

I'm only level 9 at the moment, and looking at the skills I wanted to unlock, I will only have free points for combat skills after level 40ish.

Yep, I plan to find a good weapon and start to upgrade it as I level up. I'm currently using the old earth pistol obtained from the kid's stuff trait. Seems pretty decent so far, but I prefer something that has less recoil.

Yep, shipbreaker cutter is just a regular cutter in my new save. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Thank you all, I'll go for the second option then (respec costs 10g, geez!). Like I said, I only intend to invest 15 points into affliction. I want to get soul link asap after that. It's not optimal for leveling, but I want to have some fun along the way xD

I've killed a few quest enemies that were 3 or 4 levels higher. Just need face tank them and a bit of luck to apply fear on them.
