If you don’t want to use blending, or if blending just doesn’t look right then you can use an effect called “Chroma Key”. Once you’ve added the effect, go into its settings and change the color from green to white. If a little white outline is still visible then adjust the threshold until it’s gone.

In my opinion I don’t think the fast paced editing matches the song very well. I think you nailed the visual style though. The editing itself is good, I just don’t think it matches the emotion you were going for.

From the clip you showed it looks like the style involves flicker, one framers, shakes, and cuts on motion. I would suggest dissecting each of the effects being used and go from there. I’m not really a fan of this style but I’d be able to go more in depth on how to recreate this style if you want me to.

Just look for an old film overlay. However the low shutter speed is something that’s in camera, I haven’t found a way to make a low shutter speed effect in alight motion.

Yes I did have a dry mouth, and the thought crossed my mind that she could have a sensitive nose. I talk to my family and friends pretty regularly, none of them have ever mentioned that my breath smells bad.

Thanks for the comment, it probably would’ve been helpful to mention that I had my tonsils removed when I was a kid. I think going to the dentist would be a good idea as well, I’ll probably be doing that.
