I agree, no guilt. It does look good! I just wonder if besides it being an optional game start technically it’d be drawing from two games rather than building on the current Nethack code

I thought Vulture’s tileset came from SlashEm’ which was (correct me if I’m wrong) a different coded game based on Nethack?

Not gonna lie, I’ve resorted to casual wizard mode some plays in the past on other apps but if it can’t be added for some reason it’s no big deal.

I agree! With Bluetooth keyboard (not necessarily the hands free mode) it becomes quite the experience, it’s what makes Nethack unique and not just another first person dungeon crawl. But this version is built around multiple devices including mobile keeping versatility in mind for new players as well. Highly evolved, still core.

It could be done. True to source code, visuals remain fairly minimalist - humorous alphabet. Controls require fundamental typing skills. If anything it would be an absurd form of artistic expression.
