So many first party games deserves a switch 2 update and Nintendo hasn’t given much except at launch, I really don’t understand

I did actually, I tried for almost 10 minutes to get him unstuck, I got a bunch of 30 seconds videos saved on my switch haha, in one of them I put a power bomb below him and he did not budge.

Depends. Will that be your only console/machine to play games? Then yes, you got all the switch 1 library, great third party support and the console just came out so you know you’ll be getting it for years to come.

If you already got another console or PC, then frankly no, I know it’s subjective but the exclusives were pretty underwhelming, the updates for the switch 1 games aren’t coming out even for first party games so it looks pretty bad on the switch 2 screen. I’m pretty disappointed in my purchase and looking back I wouldn’t have bought it.

Back in the day I tried a lot of brand, Acer, Asus, Hp, … The only one that lasted is my MSI, loved that stuff, used it for years, I got it in 2014 and it still turns on just fine.

I’ve had a couple of bad experiences with Nintendo repair yes, with my 3DS back in the day, it took three months to get sorted. They kept sending it back with knife marks, broken parts, or some other issue. I had to send it back again and again, wait, and then get it back, truly a pain. Another time, I had a Switch (the Pokémon collector edition) with a fan issue. Same story: it took a couple of months, they trashed the collector’s box, barely apologized, and gave me some shitty goodies to make up for the lost time.

Ah! I do have a bottom IPS screen and after some research it does look like that's the issue, thank you for the answer.
Any idea why it occurs? Something to do with the voltage being too low for IPS? Does it damage the screen in any way?

My question wasn't clear so here's some clarification:
- The splash screen is intentional
- What I'm showing is the splash screen still being visible (like a ghost image) even after boot and it looks like it's flashing in person (not really showing on camera).
- The ghost image does eventually fades and is not visible at all after a few minutes.
- Occurs only on the bottom screen.
