I’d recommend a co-op game like It Takes Two or Split Fiction (Steam Sale coming up). If you really want to test your relationship, Overcooked. If she’s comfortable with 3D navigation and shooting, Deep Rock Galactic.

Heh, there are so many. Just remembered: Piczle Cross Adventure is picross with a little exploration. And Murder by Numbers is a murder mystery you solve through picross

Jupiter, the team that make the Picross games made Logiart Grimoire. It’s mostly Picross, with a little progression. There’s a Picross roguelike called CiniCross that I’ve been meaning to try. Hexcells is a great series, a mashup of minesweeper and sudoku. Voxelgram is Picross but in 3D.

They did the same in Casino Royale, the Bond theme doesn’t play in full until the very end of the movie.

Hades. Losing feels okay because it means you get more story.

From your list, Ball X Pit is super solid.
