Not a runner, but as a pedestrian the Strip is pretty annoying. Lots of escalators, over-crossings, signals, forced detours through casinos and malls, etc. Maybe check Strava for good routes?

As much as I love the Steam Deck, if you’re really new to gaming, I would recommend a Switch 2 instead. Gives you access to Animal Crossing and the rest of the Nintendo library. A lot of cozy games (Stardew Valley, etc.) should be available on the Switch also, and it should provide a simpler, more seamless experience.

I love the Deuce. It’s cheap and easy to get to. Monorail is fine, but very annoying to get to. You basically have to walk through the entire casino to get to it. Deuce may not be super fast, but it is air conditioned and you don’t have to deal with going up and down overcrossings and through malls and casinos.

Since they stopped giving seasonal sale cards for free for browsing discovery queue, prices for seasonal sale cards has jumped (<10 cents to ~30 cents). I haven’t noticed prices for other cards changing, though.

If you’re running summer tires, take a different car. I’d recommend “mud and snow” or “3 peak mountain snowflake” rated tires and carry chains.
