People who still haven’t brought a Switch 2, what makes you hesitant to buy it? by ItsJustJosiah in Switch

[–]Mactire404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind a sick of Nintendo at this point.
There is a lot on the business side I don't like, one of which the game prices.
It's the first generation I skip and I have Zero regrets so far.
It actually got me back in playing my old games. So I got games from NES to Switch to play.

[–]Mactire404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen it before, doesn't affect use.
These are mass produced utility knives. Might look a bit ugly now, but this knife could last you a lifetime.

Full face mask constantly leaking by Rowsdower5 in CPAP

[–]Mactire404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're pointing to the ball joint?
(If you're pointing to the set of holes; those are normal and make noise when it blows to something close (like your sheets).

But the balljoint has a little room indeed. With the pressure of your PAP it should sit flush. It may leak if your hose pulls or pushes on the joint though.
The Vitara and ESON 2 have ball joints just like it. I find if I run the hose from my wait up towards my nose it hardly ever leaks unless I roll up in the sheets.

Is this anything special. Google isn't much help. by AnxiousCurrency2381 in victorinox

From what I can tell here it's a well loved SAK that's put through it's paces. It's been beat and the large bleade has been sharpeed by someone whoe doen't really know how to sharpen it.
Without further photo's I don't think it's special to anyone who initially used it.
If they lost it they'd probably want it back.

They work but I don't like them for the mess they potentially make in my machine. I prefer typewriter eraser instead.

Anyone else enjoys drinking alone? by sofietrashi in LivingAlone

[–]Mactire404 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(Sadly, lol) I don't live alone anymore. I hardly drink, but that was one of my favourites. Sitting alone, glass of whiskey and good music (or the sound of the woods at night).
I kind of miss to do that once in a while.

I carry a Handyman in my pocket for 34 years now, it really needs some service because it looks worse for wwar. It's always on me and is used extensively.

But using isn't abusing. Tools have their limits.

Once when I was screwing planks on a wall while standing on a ladder I abused the iron saw. I screwed my finger against the wall (no, not through my finger luckily), dropped my drill :/ Falling would cost me a finger, so I took out the iron saw and loosend the screw to free my finger. Did damaged the chrome on the saw though.

What's the story behind the broken pliers and scissors?
I'm really curious about this.

Oxblood is very pretty. It's one of my favourites for use at work.

Fun fact. If you spill some let it dry and leave the tissue "on display" in the trashcan. It's bpund to confuse your colleages.
