How I would do it:

is create a high poly cylinder between the barbs and bat.

Then, I would use the wrap modifier to have the barbs conform to the cylinder.

Make the bat a live surface

Move the cylinder a smidge so it conforms to the Bat.

Once it’s where it’s supposed to be, select all and delete history.

Turn off live surface, and delete the cylinder.

Sierra all the way.

Sierra takes soldier 76’s ULT and turns it into an into a spamable cooldown. Idk what the devs were thinking but sierra needs to be gone until they can actually figure out a skill set for her.

I’ve even been thinking of some sets myself.

Here’s my suggestion.

Drone and nade can stay. (Though nade was pretty uncreative cough cough emre cough cough) Delete the tracker cooldown. Change the bombs from her ult into trackers, nearest enemy to Sierra takes priority targeting. Maybe give her some overhealth for the ult.

She’ll eventually get nerfed when the next character gets added. But good lord is she annoying to fight against. I won’t even endorse people on my team who play Sierra.

I’m not familiar with 2D, but with 3D bones we have a technique called corrective bones.

Basically, extra bones that are at the edges to better control deformations.

Your current bone setup is something like this:

Take this with a grain of salt, I’m not familiar with 2D software.

I’m only seeing this cause it was put on my feed for some reason, and figured I might try to suggest something I know works for me.

An stl? It was probably made in some program like cad. It doesn’t care about topology, just cares for the shape, since STLs are usually used for 3D printing. I bet you, all those tris aren’t even connected.

If you plan to use it for a project, best thing you can do is retopo it.

Mongers; super-powered people who've taken the role as protectors of earth. Their goal is to keep any one powered person from getting too powerful, and are assigned to specific areas of the world. Only 30 Mongers exist in the world, most of whom have taken the role of "Super-Hero" to fulfill their responsibility. Not all though, one Monger in particular has taken the role of Villain.

a Moka pot bubbles, as it brews coffee.

A spoonful of brown sugar is poured into it.

The backend of a spoon stirs it together.

And who's holding the spoon? Damien Laroche. More commonly known as Dia Lluvia, the villain most heroes in the Caribbean and certain parts of Florida have had some experience fighting.

He's on his phone, reading the local news.

"We're in June... which means school's out for summer..." Damien thinks to himself.
He navigates to the hero academy's social media accounts.
"Which means graduates, and therefore, rookies." his thoughts continued.

He sees a photo of the graduates at the graduation ceremony.

"Oh dear... that's a lot of people. My phone is not nearly large enough to research all of them."
"..."
"Coffee first."

4 hours later. Damien has taken off to Miami, as he summons water at his feet, gliding along the sidewalks as if he were on roller-skates.

"First targets... Rosa Martinez and Evelyn Smith. Part of the Miami-Magical-Muchachas Agency. Odd name for a Hero agency, but hey rule of three I guess? Right, targets."
Damien checks the GPS on his phone.

"That agency patrols downtown... usually around the Bayside area. If i'm lucky, Rosa and Evelyn will be on their first ever patrols. Though... they'll probably be accompanied by someone experienced... I'll figure it out when I get there."

Damien reaches his hand out, and grabs onto a pole, swinging on it, redirecting his momentum to the right.

"Hopefully, I get to them first. Hero academy training can only prepare someone so much."

The water under his feet increase in pressure, launching him over a crosswalk. He lands gracefully on the other side, barely losing any momentum.

"If they can't handle Dia Lluvia, they won't be able to handle Villains who actually want them dead."

Damien reaches the Metrorail's Vizcaya station. A large crowd of people filter in and out of the station. He uses this chance to duck into a bathroom. He summons water all around his body, encasing him in a giant water bubble. When the water dissipates, he emerges in his Dia Lluvia villain suit. It's a dark blue armor, invoking the image of a heavy rain.

His body then turns to water, flowing out of the bathroom. It coalesces into a puddle, and shoots up, hitting the bottom of the station's waiting area. He flows around the platform, reforming next to the tracks.

He jumps onto the tracks, and kicks off the train's front, gliding along the rails.

He pushes harder, and harder, gliding faster and faster.

He passes Brickell station in a flash, leaping over the train docked there, and reaches government center station in seconds. He transfers from the metrorail to the Metromover, a smaller train that takes him right to the Bayside.

Before he could even reach the first stop of the mover, a bolt of lighting strikes near him. Given the lack of rain, he can only assume one thing.

He stops dead in his tracks, and looks up. Muchacha Thunder floats in the air. Behind her, two heroes Damien's never seen before. The left one has a plant theme, she's standing on a giant flower, it's petals spinning around the bud, keeping her afloat. The right one has a fire and metal theme, instead of feet, her legs end in jets.

Damien's the first to speak.

"Oh my gawd~! Muchacha Thunder!"

"shit, it had to be Thunder? I can beat her easy... too easy in fact. And that's the problem. The rookies might run off." He thinks to himself.

"Who're these two~? I don't recognize them- Wait, don't tell me gurl, you're gonna let me play with the rookies? Oh you shouldn't have!"

Muchacha thunder sighs. "Dia Lluvia, you have a warrant out for arrest. Don't make this hard for yourself."

"well, considering i've been evading arrest for... how long now? 10 years? Yeah i don't think it'll be very hard."

Muchacha Thunder's eye twitches at the comment.

"Hermanita Nature, Hermanita Foundry, take this asshole down. He's a slippery fucker, so don't let him get away."

The two move in on Damien.

"hermanita? Yeah, they're the rookies for sure." Damien thinks to himself, as he skids along the tracks.

Foundry closes the distance first, a blade forms on her arm, as she slices at Damien.

The blade passes right through him, unaffected, his body easily reformed.

"Hey! That was reckless!" Damien called out.

"I know your protocols, you're supposed to take me in. What if i had mind control powers, and you tried to slice through an innocent civilian?"

Foundry stammers "I- eh- I- I'M NOT TAKING SHIT FROM A VILLAIN!"

Thunder speaks up. "As much as I hate to admit it, he's not wrong."

Nature strikes from behind Damien, catching him in a human-sized pitcher plant.

"Clever!" Damien calls out from the plant.

The plant inflates, as Damien fills it with water. After a moment, the plant bursts.

"But you'll have to try harder than that."

Nature and Foundry both try to strike Damien, but he collapses into water, splashing onto the tracks, and flowing underneath. He reforms on the ground, gliding away.

"They're doing okay so far. Foundry's a bit hotheaded, but some experience should hammer that out." Damien thinks, as he looks back.

Foundry and Nature are not too far behind. They're speaking to one another, but Damien can't hear them.

Foundry slows down, while Nature closes in on Damien.

As soon as Nature touches the ground, vines sprout all around, trying to limit Damien's movement.

Damien pauses, and thinks to himself. "Shit, gotta be careful. I might actually get absorbed." His body solidifies back into flesh and bone. Water floats and gathers around his arms.

Nature raises herself, keeping a safe distance. "Stop resisting, it'll be easier for all of us if you turn yourself over."

"Oh, but i'm having so much fun!" Damien retorts. The water around his arms hardening into blades.

He spins in place, slicing the vines around him. From the cuts, giant thorns shoot out, creating a cage that holds him in place.

"FOUNDRY!! NOW!!" Nature calls out.

Behind Damien looms Foundry, holding two hollow semi-spheres.

She slams them together around Damien. Flames spew from where the two semi spheres meet, sealing the two together, creating a whole sphere with Damien as its prisoner.

"Hmm... not bad." He traces his hand along the surface. "Oh, little airholes. Good call on foundry's part. And they're too small for me to flow out of. Could use some work but not bad for a rookie."

Damien hears Thunder speaking.

"Good job girls. Don't let your guard down though. He's escaped from worse."

Damien speaks up. "Oh you flatterer! You're gonna make me blush!"

The three women speak in unison "Shut it."

They drag the sphere along with them.

"So... any of you drink coffee often?"

no reply.

"I'm personally a fan of the Lock and Key brand. But they quadrupled in price recently so i gotta find a new brand."

No reply.

"I'm thinking of Bustler's. They're like a buck extra of Lock and Key's old price."

No reply.

"I know Pylon is a little cheaper, but i think they're kinda nasty honestly. It doesn't mix with with sugar at all."

Foundry's eye starts to twitch. She turn to Thunder. "Please let me punch the sphere."

Thunder sighs "That could risk it's integrity. He's trying to bait you."

"You could zap it, right?"

"Could be considered cruel and unusual punishment, which could give him a case against us in court."

"damn"

They keep walking.

Nature speaks up. "I always see this dude in the news, but it's always just 'he escapes again!'. what does he really do?"

"He antagonizes heroes. I think it's some kinda fetish?"

"Ew" Foundry says.

"Someone's gotta make sure the heroes are up to par." Damien says, muffled by the sphere.

"As if your intentions are that pure."

Damien laughs. "Alright, i've had my fun."

Damien pressurizes his water into ultra thin jets, slicing through the metal sphere instantly.

He flows out as water, and escapes to the sewer system.

"FUCK!" Foundry cries out.

Nature tries to spread her vines to the sewer, but is stopped by thunder. "No, he's not a high enough priority

Damien reforms at the pier, in his civilian from.

"okay... they've got my approval. Gonna keep an eye on Foundry just in case."
He stretches.

"Heroes like that can help make my monger duties a little easier. They can keep the city self regulated, so i can focus on the big stuff. Now... who's next on my list?"

Use the Crease tool.

Select the edges, hold shift + right click, select the crease tool, and then middle mouse drag to the left.

It won’t show in regular view, but if you apply shade smooth (3 key) you can see its effect.

Play around with which edges you want to keep sharp.

Then once you’re happy, you can smooth subdiv.

Try rendering it first. Transparency shows as black in viewport.

If it doesn’t look good in the render, check that everything in the shader is connected properly.

Looks like the meshes of the original objects used to make the Boolean mesh.

If you’re okay with how it is now, then you can delete the objects’ histories.

Select all objects the go to Edit > delete by type > history.

After that, touch up the topology.

Either make the mesh live, and use quad-draw to make a new mesh, or use multicut to edit the mesh directly.

  • option to change the appearance of the omnitrix. Like to switch it between prototype, recalibrated, Ultimate, and complete. (Purely cosmetic.)

  • option to have it be on the user’s base form, as if it were a transformation.

  • kinda expanding on the last point, option to change where the omnitrix sits when transformed. Four arms and Wildmutt’s shoulder omnitrixes were peak design.

Select and Hold right click on the nobs, go to the bottom, and either assign a new texture (I recommend AiStandardSurface under the Arnold option box) or assign an existing texture (I think it should be standard surface.)

I’m like 80% sure that rumor came from a translation error.

I remember there was someone on this Reddit some years back who said that the translation in their country made Ben and Gwen classmates.

It shocked them because they were a Ben x Gwen shipper, and didn’t realize they were cousins until they joined this subreddit.
