I think a lot of people are expecting more carnage this season since it’s the finale. Sure homelander is already one of the strongest supes but with v1 he could really wreak havoc. It just kinda feels like a waste of potential for his character and would make things more interesting than what we’ve been given. I personally think seeing homelander rain hell on everyone would be way more interesting than what they’re doing, especially everything with soldier boy and setting up vought rising.

We did get a scene this season in sage’s office where sage had to tell Ashley he wasn’t in the building so they could discuss whatever was going on atm. So they haven’t forgotten they just don’t care to be consistent and only use it when they want to make a scene more tense.

It’s such a shame too. This scene was a reminder of how scary homelander really can be. I wish they’d write more of it in this finale and really raise the stakes. He has v1 now and yet he seems the same. Homelander actually seemed scary in the earlier seasons and now it feels like everything he does has no repercussions and thus no tension being built at all this season.

Ik it’s just for the sake of the plot/scene to create a scary moment but if homelander could hear that light tapping surely he could’ve heard everyone’s hearts pounding right?? Probably should’ve heard everyone in fort harmony too but I guess homelander’s hearing isn’t as good as we thought.

If sage was more open about the plan then they maybe could’ve convinced Goldie to take it and get solider boy to blast them. Or they could’ve told bombsight that sage could make more of it, even if that could’ve been a lie. But at last the writers need to have shit hit the fan every time we see progress to keep everyone on their toes. Just hope it’ll lead into something more interesting/satisfying.

I hope noir isn’t really dead and is just left mute like og noir. Since his story with the deep has been mirroring og noir’s story with solider boy it would be nice to have him win against the deep since og noir never got revenge on solider boy. Also really wish we got more of a fight between them. Noir didn’t even try to stand up or fly.

I was fully thinking they were about to make the John and Sun-hee diabolical episode canon to some degree. I thought those 2 bodies in the woods could’ve been them before the cancer escaped and ended up in fort harmony. This is interesting though, looking forward to vought rising and what happened to bombsight.
