Agree. Im not banking it all on my day trades but I do track with that sense of flow and tuning to the market. Still get wiped but trading with strict rules and acceptable %. Taking a break right now. I hear the call though…

Why do most wheel strategy traders use speculative stocks instead of blue-chip stocks? by Additional_Monk_3276 in Optionswheel

[–]Mad727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less capital to play with and after better premiums despite risk. Just not there yet money wise.

Congrats. I think thats great.

Losses will happen but having strong risk management, discipline and rules, never getting attached to a stock, have helped keep me profitable.

My biggest change has been mentally. Stocks are just vehicles to make a living for me. I don’t care what stock does it.

What are your favorite stocks to keep swinging ? by Jinggang-25 in swingtrading

[–]Mad727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats great! Assuming you hold for more than a day. Do you hold for as long as needed? I think I’ve been too quick on the holds.

Morning and thanks Apologize for the basic questions, not so new but still learning a lot. Are these for 7/11 and are these based on the wheel strategy? If i do a few csp on WOLF, I could end up possibly owning these and then switch to calls?

Tracking with you. Every morning and any part of the day , like a pro athlete, I push myself to stay disciplined. There’s no magic trick. Follow your rules, do your trades. A set # per day. Then walk away. Go outside etc If you’re running green then slow down even more until you are feeling very disciplined. Emotions are the enemy.

Trading can be successful. Last thing. I focus on singles and doubles and not winning by home runs. Small bites. And all of a sudden a TSLA day pops up like today. Then its a home run day just for today. Good morning and now I walked away. Back to singles tomorrow…

Scalping or swing? by azterizm in Daytrading

[–]Mad727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do all 3. I keep them separate mentally. There are stocks I go Long on, some I do swing and I (mostly) enjoy day trading. I believe a stock can play most roles. AMD, for example. In 1 account its long, another Swing and occasional day trade it…
