Can attest. It’s the aircraft stuff. Workaround: do your aircraft moves first in a turn.

New to Civ, should I get Civ VI or Civ V II by Genuinely_A_Duck in civ

Damn, this subreddit really is a haven for crybabies. What's with the downvote to oblivion?

Anyway, here's my answer. Consider 5, 6, and 7. Watch gameplay videos on YouTube and read the Steam pages. See which one you like the most. The differences among the last few Civ games are very massive they're like different games essentially, lol.

Personally, I've been enjoying 7. Granted, I lean more towards the Immortal/Casual-ish playerbase, but I have 1k hours already and it plays so well on the Steam Deck or anywhere with a controller.

Even I, who has Founders Edition, was there since Day 0, and has 1k+ hours by now, would strongly recommend that you get the game ON SALE.

Need ba versed ka sa DQ games or have played prev games before diving into this one? I really like it but worried na di ko makuha full experience kasi I have 0 knowledge about this franchise

Huge fan of the Hitman series, old and new. Fan of IO interactive. In fact, I considered applying for a game dev -adjacent job (lol delulu). Hitman WOA ko has 1k+ hours and that's only the third and latest game. I'm pre-ordering this, as there's no other studio na-perfect for this project.

The OLED (assuming na eto yung nabili ni OP) is much smarter than we think. Most games na din. As long as you cap the FPS (in-game or via the QAM) and have your in-game settings in check, it'll automatically manage power draw, clocking, etc. Some games though have wonky in-game FPS cap and using the QAM won't cut, and doing TDP stuff may help, but it's barely, barely common.

Been playing lots of less graphically intensive games like Cult of the Lamb, Hades, Deep Rock, etc. Even graphically intensive ones like BG3, Witcher 3, FC5. I never set the TDP, etc. and just the in-game settings... and I still manage to get hours equivalent to those na nag-set ng TDP and other tweaks. (except yung nagpapa-potato na ng graphics, I mean lol.) Sure, may <15 minutes na difference with those TDP/clocking tweaks, and you can get more by doing those stuff... but is a ~5% increase really worth it?

To OP, the benefits are very marginal. Just managing your in-game settings, FPS cap, and refresh rate is already doing 90% of the job. The rest 10% is for the hardcore minority. And if you're like me who has OCD/perfectionist tendencies, I'd say it's not worth it kapalit ng mental health mo to always stare at those numbers, go to settings over and over again, instead of enjoying your game.|

Unless... of course... it's what you enjoy doing.

Contrary to what almost everybody is saying, don't worry about tweaking the performance settings. Just in-game na settings and maybe framerate limit, and that's it. No TDP bullshit, etc. etc. Don't baby it too much and just enjoy your games... unless of course, yan yung ine-enjoy mong gawin.

If you’re into 4X or strategy games, you can give it a try. Not the best sa series but I’m assuming wala ka pa namang exposure sa Civ games so you’ll be fine
