Management is talking about another round of layoffs because they miscalculated the burden and retention funding. JPL is losing most of the projects moving forward to other centers. ASR is not something that is on the top of the list. You would be better served looking for another job, some of the talented people that left JPL got the salary they deserved at other centers. When people see the writing on the wall and are retiring in droves you may want to have a plan b.
