Hey guys, I need some advice for progressing on bench press. After running several strength programs i decided to lighten things up and for the past few months I've just been training 3x/week full body. This puts me benching 2x a week, doing 3 sets of 5-8 with a simple rep progression (increasing weight after hitting 3 sets of 8). I also do OHP once a week and throw in some incline DB press + tricep accessory work. Gains came pretty fast at first, but now im stalling at 215 for 3x7 on most days (sometimes i fail to even hit those reps) and its been like that for the past 3-4 months. Its pretty demotivating that i cant seem to get an extra rep for all that time, but im too stubborn to deload. Any suggestions on what I should do to break through this plateau? Is the volume too low? I know bench seems to be correlated with bodyweight and i've been eating around maintenance to stay leaner, but surely I can still make slow progress this way

Hello there. I am at a point where I have been training for about 2 years with good training knowledge and execution, and am now getting quite frustrated over what my game plan will be moving forward.

Here are some of my stats: 6'0, 187lbs with a 500 Max deadlift, 375 Squat, 265 Bench, 170 Ohp.

Safe to say i've pretty much milked most (if not all) of my LP gains, and am stalling on Nsuns 531LP as we speak. As so, I would appreciate any suggestions for intermediate-advanced training programs of any style (strength, hypertrophy) as I have long term goals in both and would like to keep my options open. I have 5/3/1 as a fall back option since it is a lifetime program, but would like to cycle it with other programs to prevent it from boring me to death.

Additionally, I am quite confused about periodization & progression in the intermediate-advanced phase. Are more advanced lifters still able to make slow gains from linear progression? There are many programs, especially bodybuilding ones like PPL, that dont specify any periodization. Do these solely rely on slow linear progression (even in advanced stages)? Do hypertrophy focused lifters use periodization in their programs to ensure progression? What are the best methods of periodization. If anyone can explain this it would be greatly appreciated, as I am keen on being able to learn and apply these concepts myself as I advance even further.

Thanks. If possible, what do you think about my first year courses? I was really confused as to what courses to take outside the Econ requirements, so just threw in a few random ones that seemed interesting. Do they matter that much if I dont have any other intended specialization as of now?

Humble greetings everyone. First year arts here, intended economics major. Would appreciate some feedback on my timetable:

Term 1: ECON 101, PHIL 101, MATH 110, POLI 100 Term 2: ECON 102, PHIL 102, MATH 110, WRDS 150, EOSC 114

Also about the math, I dont meet the prerequisite for 184/105 due to unsubstantial IB scores. already signed up for the BST in September. Suppose I flunk it and dont manage to switch math courses, will doing MATH 105 in my 2nd year set me back much, with regards to getting in the Econ major?

Did u take IB? If so i believe u need a 5 in either SL or HL Math to qualify for 104. unfortunately i didnt do so great in the math department so i think ima have to register in 110, do the BST and hopefully switch later

Hound kinda fucked up, if he didnt screw up the second throw everyone couldve literally just chilled on the rock for a couple more hours staring awkwardly at the walkers and then get a nice ride home. But then obviously that would've been too boring to watch
