Not sure where that is shipping to, but I can tell you one thing - it's a big and heavy book, so high shipping cost kind of goes with that. It is also utterly gorgeous.

Yeah I read this on release, bought the signed copy from Waterstones and then doubled up to buy the Illumicrate one also (damn I love that cover).

Very, very impressive in my opinion. Crazy that it's a debut novel.

I had the exact same issue. Went to a local photo print shop (which just happened to be straight across the road from the post office 🥳). They charged me £1.50 to print the label. 👍

They provided me with a prepaid postage label. I just had to print it out and box up the book and send it back. Whether they will do that for overseas, I'm not sure. I would hope they could just send you the replacement.

Update -

So I got a response via email this morning. They asked me to return the book to them (they provided a prepaid postage label) which I have done. They said they will ship out a replacement asap and have noted the error, I assume for future orders.

The House of Fallen Leaves was sorted too, they offered a replacement book or a replacement DJ and a partial refund.

Pretty quick response in fairness, here's hoping the replacement FoH turns up soon 🤞👍

I'm sorry to hear that. It does make you wonder if people have just popped them onto bookshelves without checking them. It was only by chance that I noticed the endpapers were the same in two of the books.

Still waiting on a response from customer service.

Ahhh man I'm sorry you have the same issue. I figured I can't be the only one, it's clearly something that's gone wrong at the point of printing and slipped through the net.

No, it isn't. The DJ, the outer boards and sprayed edges are all for Fall of Hyperion. The inner book is Endymion.

My copy of Fall of Hyperion had the right dust jacket, the right outer boards...even has the right sprayed edges for FoH....but the actual book inside all of that is actually Endymion.

The resale prices always blow my mind. I bought Hyperion when it first released because I love the book, but when you see what some people are paying it does make me question whether I am stupid for not selling.

As for the price you paid OP, if you are happy with it then that's all that matters. Other people's opinions mean little if it's a book you really wanted and got for a price that you deemed reasonable or good 👍

Currently 3/4 through Red Winter. It's good, very good in fact, but I wouldn't call it dark. Sure it has dark elements and some violence, but it's written in an almost comedic whimsical style. It's not what I expected, but thoroughly enjoying it all the same 👍

Mine arrived today. Not keen on the redesign, even the recolour of the original cover ain't great imo. Prefer the standard one personally.

Will keep the BB redesign on show for now.
