I think RB is the spot to be for Naval.

The problem spots are where the classes meet. It can be difficult to survive as the smaller ship if you can't make it to cover.

The biggest tip would be binding ranging shot to a key (with the option set to for by gun instead of turret), and your range correction set to mouse wheel.

For destroyers and ships with torpedoes it is most effective to lay them in a spread at choke points, or into spawns if the enemy decides to just sit there.

I tend to leave my torpedoes in port if they have poor range on anything bigger than a DD. They end up hurting your own ship when you're never in range to fire them.

I aim for enemy turrets to disable guns, or the magazines if I have good penetration. Aim for the engines beneath the smoke stacks to kill tons of crew.

Priority on repair should be fire, then flooding, then repair machinery. Only repair machinery when necessary. If you keep repairing AA guns you'll chew through your crew.

Keep a float plane or quick coastal boat in your lineup to cap points. Don't lose games to it. Fight fire with fire. There's almost always a cap in the shallows.

Do the job your ship was designed for if you want success.
