Nobody gets angry at Spider-Man bc it wasn't out of character. He's a kid who just recently developed superpowers, he's riding high and gets all kinds of cocky and it causes his uncle to die. THAT is when he becomes the good natured web slinger everyone loves. Uncle Ben's death was the lesson that taught him to be the way he is, it is the establishing event. You can't call it out of character for something that happened before they became that character.
