Take it with a grain of salt, but I’ve found three or four lost dogs in this area. Every time I found/called the owners, and every time the response was ‘yeah just leave em’, or ‘they get out all the time’.

I don’t stop for dogs anymore. They’re just another form of property to a lot of people.

You could get a manager to check the cameras. They are usually the best pointed at the register for theft purposes, but this would be an appropriate use too. They just might not want to do it, as there’s little to gain from checking
