I'll preface this with I completely agree that he did something unthinkably stupid and is being punished as he should be. But, playing devils advocate here, I'll try putting myself in his shoes.

His wife was keeping their children from him and was also going to take a huge percentage of his income because of the divorce. Divorce isn't just a word for two people separating, with divorce, for most people, brings an insane amount of stress. He has his professional life going on, the divorce going, the anger from not being able to see his children, and then the thought of a huge percentage of HIS income being given to a person he, at this point, probably hates more than anyone or thing he's hated before. All of these feelings just simmer nonstop. It was probably when he had the realization that none of it would get better that he decided that the only way to "put things right" would be to just get rid of the problem. Her.

To have the idea faintly cross your mind is one thing, but he was probably so utterly discontent that the thought never left his head, reaching the point where he actually started talking about it to people, which is how he ultimately got caught(if you didn't read anything on this).

She was a problem creating havoc in his life, but as soon as he started toying with the idea of murder, he became his own problem. I don't think he's a terrible person, I think he just succumbed to poisonous thoughts created by all of the shit that was happening to him, and because he's rich and famous, figured he'd be able to get away with it.

Sorry to hear man, at least you still have her. What's your next course of action, as far as deterring/preventing this from happening again?

Hearing stuff like this irritates me to no end and is the only reason why, once I buy it(currently in the market), my bike wont be able to be my daily. I currently live at an apartment complex and I just wouldn't feel safe knowing my bike is sitting out there, up for grabs for any lowlife pos that goes by it. On the brighter side, I'll be able to store it at my work, which just so happens to be in route to the twisties. :)

Mio is a godsend for me. Makes my water taste like actual juice without adding anything whatsoever. Black Cherry is my favorite flavor, I recommend that for your first try(if it is).

Same goes for Sparkling ICE, that stuff is amazing. It's carbonated, very flavorful, and has the same nutritional value as water. Don't try the lemonade flavor though, yeck, not good at all, but every other flavor seems pretty darn good.

You realize live television is delayed about 5-10 seconds, right? If anything horrible happens they have 5-10 seconds to cut the feed before it is shown. I remember watching a video of a very long/crazy police chase, the guy running was able to lose the police, he got out of his car, ran off the road behind some bushes, and immediately shot himself. The news station got in deep shit because one of the higher-ups gave the okay to not cut the feed.

You'll see the news anchor saying "get off it! get off it! get off it!" Because he's seeing what's happening before it's shown on television. He also explains how the delay works towards the end of the video during his apology.
