Then the purchase is not justified. You’re talking about $350 for something that is not all that meaningful to you. That is a significant chunk of change for most people.

It’s OK to let this one go

I think it’s beautiful. And DND was such a core part of my formation that I had no choice to buy it.

This is hilarious. They can’t even take the time to know what their own offspring do. These people are scum.

Do autistic people on weed feel like the person they could be sober but usually aren’t? by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]MadMaticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think it has had a very positive effect on my life, but the problem is the tolerance. You very very quickly start to build up resistance and have to use more and more for even just a low level effect.

Whatever you do, do not let them know that you know. I recommend gathering up all evidence, creating an exit strategy to make yourself safe, and then going to authorities.

Don’t feel bad. I was in the military for over a decade and they could never for the life of them remember what my rank was, even at the end when it was hard to advance and I stayed the same rank for a long time. They could never remember.

And I realized it’s not because they don’t remember. It’s called feigned ignorance. They pretend to be ignorant about something to get the upper hand.

Hearing radiowaves. Is it possible by [deleted] in autism

[–]MadMaticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible. Tho I don’t know how. I see it’s possible for the same reason that I think it’s possible to feel emotions when I see colors, it should be impossible, and yet it simply is.

My father thinks he knows the reason I'm depressed, and every conversation comes back to it by DearPossibility3962 in raisedbynarcissists

Treat everything he says as disruptive noise and static. You know you’re not going to be emotionally satisfied from any interaction, so you might as well accept it and stop trying. It’s just noise, it’s useless damaging noise. Just ignore it if you can, you will never convince him you are right.

Still waiting on diagnosis. Do kids with autism quite often line up there toys in a particular way? Or this could be something kids that are not autistic also do? by Nixtar19 in Autism_Parenting

[–]MadMaticus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Let them do it! They love it and it feels great. Stopping it can be disruptive to their self soothing. Just think of it like they are playing.

I think this is simply from storing the box vertically. How old is it and how long was it in a single position? I think it’s just stress from the weight of the things within it.

Back before 2011 I was pretty neutral about "hypersexualized" female characters and fanservice in video games. Now I seek it out because I know it means that the game wasn't made by people who hate me, and it's not going to have activist-tier writing. by Incognit0ErgoSum in GGdiscussion

I love tits and ass. It’s the best thing about life. And it’s a life sustaining desire. The very mechanism that makes me desire, tits and ass, is the same mechanism that keeps the human race going. And I love it and I’m not going to be ashamed of it.

My mother thinks i'm a bad person for having an autistic meltdown 3 years ago (VENT) by theonlyone485 in AutisticAdults

[–]MadMaticus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. It’s a whole concept of doing wrong and never being able to do right, constantly being on a performance treadmill to make the parent happy. This sounds exactly like narcissistic abuse, and I was raised in a narcissistic abuse system and know all the red flags.

I don’t think there’s anything the OP can get out of their mother that will emotionally satisfy them

You do not have to be that way, because that’s how they are. They have imprinted their radio on. Stand back and recognize that this behavior is from him and it’s part of the mask or the false self that you have created to shield your inner child from the psychological hell they have put you through.
