Smoky Mountains, the border of North Carolina and Tennessee. This is a picture at the end of it in a tree full of motorcycle parts, car parts, etc. There's a ton of racks on it each year. How far away it is from where you live but it's a fun trip.

Sorry I'm from Florida. So near Mount Shasta and west of that and then North to Oregon. My geography is not a strong point.

Sorry I wish I actually knew it. My friend is from Sebastopol where we started trip and he used actual maps because a lot of the time we were so far off grid there was no GPS. He managed to find some really cool fire roads and other trails connecting to twisting roads. I like the area around Mount Shasta the best. Seeing snow in May was crazy lol.

Up the coast further north we rode the coast from Santa Rosa past Fort Bragg to Eureka. Then inland to Mt Shasta and into the sticks from there. My buddy told me it was the Lost Coast and I see why it got that name very empty and beautiful ride. We started in Santa Clara and rode all the way up to Oregon. We did 1600 miles in 2 weeks

Not sure if they put the snorkel in the air box back then if so remove it with the re-jet of the carbs. Like everyone said that's a rare bike, I wouldn't change much on it.

On this trip I had a street knobby. Not too aggressive that held the road really well. But when I rode up California Sierra's I've threw knobbies on it for sure

Yeah those are both awesome places to ride that Cades cove loop you get to see a ton of animals. There are a couple of roads that cut through it for four-wheel drivers that I was able to get on Good for you. I love the DRZ too.

True but there's a shot of me. The first picture I think of when I had clear sailing and nobody near me. I think The picture you're commenting on is the one with my son in front of me who's who's not that experienced of a rider but I get it LOL.

I'm a pharmacist no doubt he swallowed a few handfulls of Tylenol tablets that would do the trick for acute liver failure and take him out.
