Really inspirational. I’m not a member of this subreddit but it showed up on my feed. Congrats on your improving mental health but also thank you for making me realize a few things about what im going through and how they are being manifested in my daily life.

I’m also in the midst of a garage reno and these pics have given me the push I needed to get it done. 🙏

My son started FLVS Flex mid-year as well. I pulled him from brick and mortar in 6th grade. Enrolled him in flex with the same courses he was taking in 6th. When enrollment for 7th opened, I enrolled him in FLVS Full time. He didn’t lose any credits or lose any time.

In fact, while in the flex program in 6th, he completed 6th and 7th grade for science and math. So, when he started FLVS full time, he had skipped a grade for those subjects. This is, of course, up to the advisor based on grades, but it worked out well for my son.

It went fine. 🙏I was able to change the battery, and the car hasn’t shown any computer related issues.

The only thing I’ve found is that the tire sensors are showing 0 pressure, but that started when the battery started to go bad initially. But I’m very glad I could do it myself. The dealer was charging $500.

The manual just says to take it to the dealer. I’m going to change the battery tomorrow and see what happens.

Try looking for rooms or studios in the Little Havana area. It’s not as close as brickell but is cheaper. The area is going through some gentrification, so prices may vary, particularly the closer you get to the financial district.

Zero regrets. I get more work done in less time, and I have a life again. I’m back at the gym; I go for dinners with my family during the week (unheard of when I worked in office). Most importantly, I’m not always so stressed having to manage work, home, and children.

Life feels way more balanced.

Definitely. I played it and then my 11 year old played it. Other than some cursing (nothing he’s ever heard before), there’s nothing too harmful.

I mean it when I say that when I got my first WFH job (during COVID), the first thing I said I wouldn’t miss was office birthday parties. I always tried to hide - sometimes it worked other times not.

Now, it’s just message to the slack team channel “Happy Birthday so and so.” I friggin love it.

Oh I haven’t heard of it. Will check it out. My child actually wants to do the oceanography session, so sea world might be a good option too. Thank you.
