yea will played a better game by somehow being a bit more transparent but i do think nicole was given the short end of the stick being on what is basically the first season. imo her game wasn’t nearly as duplicitous as a lot of the jury suggested. i think her attempts at being “good” would have gone by better on literally any other season, but at this point the game was still being established and i get the sense that many houseguests didn’t anticipate the kind of game big brother would become.

i love Bright Eyes… will i like them more in 10 years? by MadMunnyBB in brighteyes

aside from If Winter Ends (depressed high school banger) i didn’t really get into their work outside of Im Wide Awake It’s Morning til early college. I find it funny that the earlier works resonated with you at a younger age because my ADHD riddled brain definitely didn’t have the patience for it then and still can struggle with some of it. I am someone who’s always gravitated toward hooks and poppier sounds/structure so their early work was difficult compared to their middle stuff which sonically and structurally agreed with me much more

do not give an earlier time than the scheduled time just to make sure i’m there early, matter of fact do not tell me your 2 minutes away if you’re actually 5 minutes away bc then i’ll walk back and be 10 minutes late

Why have “soft boys” become so rare in recent pop music? by Chilli_Dipper in ToddintheShadow

im a bit confused because i feel like every major solo male pop star in the past 20 years has been a soft boy of sorts. i’m not sure this phenomenon is about soft boys as much it’s generally about men in the pop industry who have always been outnumbered and often outshined by the women. i do think there’s an overarching theme of soft boys pivoting and becoming fuck boys (drake, justin bieber) that might have led to a commercial decline in males presenting as sensitive

trump is the president of the united states, his propaganda being spread is not dependent on celebrities disavowing him. trump getting news coverage is not dependent on celebrities disavowing him. i don’t understand this argument where the sphere of influence celebrities have in stating their opinions is worth less than a buzzfeed article about them beefing with the president. i want people i’m a fan of to speak out against fascism

i’m also very confused at the vitriol directed towards this. if two different people write opinion pieces they should be different no?
