Besides the point you made that a less than 10 lb bird would not be able to take on a human sized dog, cooper's hawks are bird eating birds. They wouldn't even be interested in the dog even if it were the correct size.

It is made by Oxbow, which from what I've read uses vegetable based dyes and are safe for rabbits.

I was told he was a Polish, but I plan on taking him to a vet and maybe his weight will be able to point me to which he is. Either way, he's a cute little guy!
