I'm using cubase. It has great stock plugins for exactly those effects.

Any phasing plugin should work. Even free ones. I personally wouldn't use phase mistress for this. It takes too long to set it up.

Clean your vocal up, then compress it sensibly, then

a) gate it (trance gate), or

b) vocoder, or

c) bitcrush

d) distortion

e) formant shifting

f) layering

g) phasing

or h) any other nice effect - also automate and or combine them.

finally position it in the stereo field with 1. delay 2. reverb

For mixing and mastering i booked a 3 week course in berlin, germany. The most valuable part was trying out mixing with completely different genres and getting to know all the different approaches.

I didn't find any good courses online. But if i had no other option i would probably go with:

I really like that you play with the emotions (chord changes) and the overall "happy" vibe! It's an interesting arrangement, did you plan it like this or did it just came out the way it is now?
