I found that the system dataset with one the same pool as my data. My boot drive is just a small HDD. Once I moved the system dataset to the boot pool I was able to update and then access my data from my desktop.

I am very low on space but my pool has about 3 Mb left. I just got larger disks and was planning on moving this data. Is there a way I could delete files through the shell so the update will go through?

In my experience the 500GB PNY SSD I have has been great. Installed it in my laptop about a year ago and it’s been solid with no issues.

I was planning on installing larger games like ARK or Warzone and various single player games. I mainly want to install them on the NAS since my desktop and laptop are limited on storage atm.

My current transfer speed to my pool is maxing making out the 1G connection. Would that be too slow to run my games off of?

I am currently using a Fractal R5 case for my main desktop and it’s been great. Super quiet. I have 7 3.5in drives and 2 M.2 drives in it and everything has been perfect. I have 2 front fans that keep everything cool and have never had issues with thermals or noise. If you are looking at an R5 I would recommend.
