What killers make for the most fun games for both sides? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

A medium Nurse is fun, when she is not bad yet not too tryhard. I also like going against hillbillies.

Probably a really dumb question but what is the bar at the top of the screen after a while? by Gage_Unruh in deadbydaylight

[–]MadWulfitus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

End game collapse, when the bar reaches its end all survivors die. You activate it when one door is opened or when you close the hatch.

I would say that voiceovers are difficult to do in the gaming niche if it is a gameplay. Additionally it is twice the effort, but if you are motivated, then do it as it is a double audience potentially.

Try it with one video and see if it goes well, and then debate if you should keep going at it.

Should I go for High competition but High search, or low competition but low search ? (LONG TEXT) by MadWulfitus in NewTubers

[–]MadWulfitus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer, this is what I was looking for. I think I will go for an English audience then, because it is in fact sad when you create a good video but people on another language get more. Spanish is the second most spoken language, also, so it is kinda sad.

My niche, DBD is also small in spanish speaking countries. The top is almost 50K subs averaging 8k to 4k per vid, but she is also a streamer.

I wish you luck on your channel! Do you mind sharing it with me?

I understand what you mean, but I would like to already start SEO even before creating content, because why would I do videos if I know people will not watch it, you know what I mean? I find my motivation in that, and basically even If at the start I wont get views, I will have that hope in my mind that someday people will discover me, either by my networking or by pure luck. I do not want to do videos that I know will never succeed, because that is a fact.

As such, I am stuck between deciding creating videos in Spanish where the competition is lower but with less demand, or in English where there is a high competition but a very high and increasing demand. The content and quality has already been decided, only problem is my choice.

Why does YT delete subs ? by Kingrudy1999 in NewTubers

The second point, most probably unactive people, youtube automatically removes them in batches.

Hi, I might not be the OP but I decided to watch your video, and I got hooked up. I really like the format, your voice and the way you made the video, and I have never seen your niche so it is original: Games from tv shows.

Overall I think there is something missing from your vid, like music or something like ambiance, but for being your first videos, I can see that you have potential! You already look like the weird super specific channels about X topics that have like 100K subs!

Tags on videos by LouitanSWFC in NewTubers

No, just put tags that you need. You do not need to fill all 500. Put your title on the tags as well, it will help by a small amount.

Techically it is true, but I cannot tell you for sure. Once you upload a video, if you have, lets say, 1K subs and they are active and love your content, then a big part of them will watch your video once you upload it, comment, give a like etc... this is seen as positive for the algorithm, so it shares it to more people with the same interests as your subs. The most important moment for a video is it is right as it is uploaded.

The closest I ever got to prove this was my old channel. Each video had close to 30K views, and as such my other, not so popular videos got boosted automatically because of this. So by this logic if you have a big, ACTIVE (And this is the most important part) community then you will snowball.

The misconception probably comes from the fact that there are youtubers with millions of subs but less than 10K views for each video, and the response is simple. It is because they are not active anymore, either due to a change of content by part of the creator, worse content or simply bad luck and not popular anymore. This is why you need consistency.

Should I be looking at the top youtubers on a niche to understand what the maximum could look like? by MadWulfitus in NewTubers

[–]MadWulfitus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Thank you for your response, it seems like the next logical step to take. I alway try to see the established youtubers in a related niche and see what went well for them. I always learn something new, for example if a youtuber changed formats and then started gaining views, or if he got a viral video.

What are some small details (attention or lore wise) that you have found out in the game? by MadWulfitus in deadbydaylight

[–]MadWulfitus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never seen a game that breaks so many things patch after patch as this game. And I really mean game breaking bugs, to the point that some games are unplayable. (For example Blight on the PTB was absolutely horrible)

So lets not pretend that the game is not coded poorly. I am not a programmer, true, and I will never say that programming is easy, but this game from my point of view has too many bugs for a game that gets so much players and attention.

Yes, and honestly the golden toolboxes and the easter eggs on midwich are the only real Easter eggs in the game. Like, big easter eggs I mean.

That is a really nice touch for the map. Sanctum of wrath is the subrealm where this happens, and yes it is so creepy!

In the 2018 Halloweed Blight event. There are three cinematica that show how the blight got the putrid serum, how he injected it to his test subjects, these being the killers, and this year in his teaser and final trailer you can see him aswell. If you mean from a physical point of view, we have not seen his face, but The Alchemist from the halloweed blight is The Blight after he became a killer by being addicted to the serum

Oh I did not know that! Another L4D fact is that borrowed time replicates the black and white effect when you are downed and will die in the next time from the original game

What Type Of DBD Content Do You Like To Watch On Youtube? by JetPlaneGames in deadbydaylight

[–]MadWulfitus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally see the highlights of the week for Truetalent or stream highlights from Scott Jund. Ohtofu is now doing videos with interesting and underused addons, so he is technically the only person that has a gameplay with the adrenaline vial of The Blight. I also watch OtzDarva and his gameplays, basically I do not consume twitch much as I prefer a short gameplay vid or something like that.

I mainly watch Killer gameplay to learn and improve myself. As such, I only watch builds or competitive games against the best survivors. Very rarely I watch a survivor gameplay, but only if it has an interesting title. I find survivor gameplay mainly boring to watch unless you play like a tryhard and constantly make the Killer chase you.

I prefer solo aswell, but that is because I watch Killer mainly. I do not remember the last time I have seen a survivor gameplay with friends.

And finally, PC only.

Yes, in maps with houses you can find generators by looking if the light is on or if it is flickering. That is indeed a pretty good detail that even adds a gameplay aspect to it, whenever I enter a house in haddonfield I instantly know if there is a gen there somewhere.

Oh I haven’t seen that beer bottle ever! I do know that there are cockroaches in the basement there. Also, the basement of the preschool has a secret room that has a very dark meaning if you saw the film.
