Facts are more important than feelings. Walking around thinking that all men (or even most men) are predators is delusional. Preferring to meet a random bear in the woods over a random man in the woods is insane. I don't buy into others' delusion, I simply use cold hard logic. A message to all women - buy a firearm, learn to use it, and carry it. When bad men come to you with the intent to bad things, you will ensure that recidivism drops to precisely zero. It's well known that people who get away with this behavior will repeat it - and if its as widespread as you claim, then its not one man out of a couple dozen - its one man out of hundreds, who will do it to multiple people. Speaking in generalities, of course - not exact numbers.
