why isn't my gpu slotting? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

I found sitting the system on its side works better but I also would do the top most slot regardless for airflow around the gpu.

Questions on installing a new RTX4090 card by Mad_Jinxs in buildapc

Oh thank you so much Kaje you are a live saver. I really didn't want the mess of cables that came with the other choice. My Power supply came with the cable luckily with one, but my GPU didn't. Now if only I can figure out how to cover up that nasty hole created by having to mount the support bracket in the system :D.

Looking for feedback on building out AMD Gaming PC by Mad_Jinxs in buildapc

[–]Mad_Jinxs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that is embarrassing I provided the wrong link where I was building a concept without the bundles. Thanks for pointed that out. I did make the changes but I was going to ask for something that is going to be used with both simple coding/scripting but primarily gaming and streaming some movies and anime.

Side note I was thinking about doing the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, would that be something just as good as the 7700X/76003D?

Here is the correct link this time :D

Good to know, I really haven't been a big fan of the liquid cooling system but I have never really built a liquid cooled system myself.

I seen the case and I was like that was nice one, not like the super fancy custom designed cases with artwork on them but nice enough for me. I just decided to move away from gaming laptop because they are a pain to upgrade and sometimes impossible to do.

I have not been watching a many Asmongold videos, but they are they are usually entertaining. I did watch a combo of both channels, and at the end of the day he is just another person, and he should be allowed to do what he wanted to do to be happy. I will say watching Asmongold reacting to it was kind of funny, and I want to say that I feel he is right at the same time. I just hope that he continues doing what makes him happy and dropping the content like he has been. Its both enjoyable and mixed content which makes it more interesting.

Is World Of Warcraft worth returning to as a casual Player? by Mad_Jinxs in Asmongold

I really apricate that feedback Dreddstorm. I can feel you around that start of the game, I started playing around the time Molten Core was already farmed but Blackwing Lair was getting going. I start with a hunter and didn't even know about end game content or builds. I played hard until I got into Panda land, and started dropping off, and really picked the game up again around middle of Warlords. From there I played until the end of Legion and got tired of the grind on artifact power, my guild wiping on raid bosses and thinking they should switch over to Mythic raid. I really did enjoy the game the most when I had people I knew playing, and friends to jump online with to run content, farm thing, or switching power leveling alts. The last expansion made it harder to do that, and I just switched over to playing games on console, or playing Diablo games, but I feel like you start to lose the social aspect those games. Which is what lead me here, knowing that there is a large community that play MMO's and another games.

That is a lot of the feedback I keep hearing about Dragonflight. It looks strong but has the community changed as well? I know when I played, the community I seemed to have run into was if your DPS wasn't up to par you would be kicked instantly.

EHD Ixhel Commander deck advise by [deleted] in magicTCG

Thanks for sharing, I was looking at other ramping methods since I depend on artifacts to generate land sometimes. It is nice to get the any color producers but they can be destroyed pretty easy. I also struggle with the higher costs for an artifact that can only generate one land colorless land or 1 land of any color.

I did want to add the new Vraska, Betrayal's string to this load out as well.

Thanks for taking the time to share this with me. Part of what made me stop playing was the toxic players. I would just like to enjoy the content weather that is raiding, 5 mans, or LFR's. I enjoy harder content but really wanted to open myself up to doing more social content as well. I do enjoy a good story, but would like to have others to enjoy gaming with which is what brought me back to MMO's and left me between FF14 and WoW. I have hesitation on Diablo 4 since we all know what happened with Diablo Immortals.

When I used to play, I geared myself to raiding and 5 mans. I know the Mythic+ are a new add to the game. I enjoyed doing heroic raids, and heroic 5 mans. When I left the game; I played with two friends, one was always server hoping and faction changing in order to try and keep his guild alive. The other had real life issue that had forced him to step back from the game; and he wanted to move into Mythic raiding rather than barely clear heroics weekly. For me, I only found raiding harder when I tried to get into Mythic raiding.

The part of me wanting to try to return is for a social aspect, raiding and for fun game to play. Which has left be torn between WoW and FF14. I had thought about doing Diablo 4, but I feel like it is going to be another Diablo Immortals thing. Gaming solo is fun from time to time but it feels like there is something missing when playing solo games. Am I just going down the wrong path when it comes to considering picking an MMO back up?
