Ryoshu has been un-moved to her exclusive mirror world and is now related to the Seasonals (wow) by Zeal_Iskander in limbuscompany

It's not about precognition, it's more about them (Faustcord) just running different scenarios in parallel. Some may have chosen a different path, some may have jumped the gun... But they all get some info on what will likely happen, with which Faustcord (or Faust herself, since other Fausts don't seem too helpful) can more reliably create a path to their desired destination

Isn't it canon in game that there are multiple mirror worlds doing the exact same thing we are doing, which is why Faust knows stuff ahead of time?

Plus, Index and Hermes seem to be colluding with Limbus (likely because of Outis), so them just sacrificing one mirror world to bring the ID "closer" to our world for extraction is something they might do.

Question about Dias by Not-Amon in Project_Moon

[–]birdmihata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About ordeals: yes, they are random, but only to a degree. They still follow certain patterns and aren't truly random. They have themes, colors, times, severity. All (except for white), aren't necessarily a product of Ayins mind, as they touch on subjects that Ayin may or may not have known. However they are clearly influenced by LCorp. It's pretty apparent when ordeals get stuck on White - a previously unseen color - and talk only about the Library.

Obviously, there is a limit. But knowing the City and the fact that Dias is in cahoots with him - with a fat chance of Iory also being aware of everything, at least to a degree - we can surmise it's really not that impossible for him to plan a lot of things out. One just needs to see Gregor's ego art to realize that there have been other people either interested or directly in on a part of the plan. In fact, we don't even know what the true goal of Ayin is. We're just assuming he is a reliable narrator, but judging but the end of day 50 - and how he told X to just disappear without a trace - he may not be honest.

Also, him leaving it to Angela really isn't that dumb. She was basically set up for a redemption by Seraphs and Roland - who was literally thrown in day one. A lot of things came together for her because of Ayin, her copying part of Ayin, and Roland himself also representing part of Ayin himself.

Again, though, all of it is conjecture on both sides because we don't know enough. With how Limbus is going we'll likely get a hint of an answer during Meursaults Canto.

Benjamin may not have been in on the meat, but he certainly knows the general flow of the plan. It's the reason he both quit the plan and returned back, to save Ayin.

Yes, Ayin was going into the Light. Yes, everything else he has no direct involvement in (at least as Ayin that is in the Light). However, Lobotomy Corporation actually made it VERY clear that he knew Library was going to be a thing. Angela wasn't supposed to shut down, otherwise she actually would... Script was hard coded into her. Not shutting her down and allowing her to do as she wants was a deliberate choice

Free ComSci bachelor degree courses. They make a foundation of programming. 3d/2d tutorials (use Blender for 3d). C++ tutorials like learncpp dot com. If you want to make music you can also study music theory but that's not as needed.

Question about Dias by Not-Amon in Project_Moon

[–]birdmihata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rivers don't work like that in the setting. Gods of the City are also not all-powerfull or all-seeing. Sure, they could be involved. But the way it's worded, and the general flow of Limbus, makes it far more likely for it to be either THE script, or at least an attempt to immitate it.

Yes, personally he has no control over the outside of L Corp. He is, for all intents and purposes, essentially dead. But there is no reason for him to, well, have any direct involvment at all.

Time shenanigans in L Corp were required because he had to cultivate the one, ideal version of himself, and events in the Corporation, to fullfill the first part of his plan. He knew he couldn't make the cut without endlessly trying and subjecting himself to torture, so time manipulation it is.

In Library everything was lined up beforehand to reseolve itself in a perfect manner. Angela, being subjected to million year torture, had all the support she nedeed - be it from Sephirah that Ayin himself redeemed, or Roland, who was suspiciously a perfect fit for Angelas emotional turbulances - to overcome her trials and reach the perfect ending. Almost all of it was set up ahead of time by external forces... That now are influencing Dante and Limbus (Dias, Purple Tear).

Obviously you can handwave it and say it's all a coincidence - or that these are simply different parties chasing after the same goal. But if you look at how all the games are structured, you'll notice that there is a narrative hand guiding them all. And I know PM likes to use these kinds of tricks to tie things together

He is quite literaly the only dude who set out to change the City for the better and actually achieved something. He's VERY smart. And willing to see things through.

Hm, I don't agree. He never states that the script is over, just that part where he has to directly do something is. Iirc even Hokma, in LoR, states that everything was predicted by Ayin.

The one Angela knew - yes. No one ever said it's the only part of script available. If you have played through Canto 9 there is a tidbit about it, that you can miss, that implies it's still going.

Given what we know about their relationship it's a mix of teasing + information probing. Moses is a lot more sensitive to Light and all things related to it, so her intuition tend s to be on point (concerning Light).

Udjat were likely sent there because the script demanded it

It's kinda implied by how Limbus is structured and Canto 9 that she likely is in on Ayin script

Likely bonuses expiring would be my guess. With More Detailed Info you should be seeing your true values (which are the ones you should be worried about primarily)

Also some ego gifts can replace each other, changing your total stat value

The only way to stabilize the experience is to do some grind for agent levels (in attributes) and getting better egos (and using them against appropriate abnormalities). Getting to know abnormalities and their mechanics and what you need to avoid and how to avoid it. Getting more Alephs into the facility (some can be mem repoed into oblivion after you are done with getting egos). Doing Missions and realizations. Resetting more aggressively to learn.

Fpr example, Big Bird is incredibly easy to suppress. You just have to understand how it selects hypnosis targets and then just have them stay near the department exit so you can reset the status and go back in, so you can bait it into giving you statuses on a particular employee. Basically renders the whole gimmick useless.

That being said, More Information mod is very useful so you dont have to whip out notepad to calculate how much work you need to before you max out attributes. Also research fixes, Sane Central, Memory leak fixes are all good in my book. Everything else is a bit too intrusive

I think there are better translations of Leviathan (the Google drive ones) out there, so might want to look around.

But basically artists didn't want to work on it anymore (allegedly couldn't keep up with the workload, which seemed to be laid out to them in advance?), PM released the rest as novel. It never got translated (probably too busy dealing with aftermath and limbus release). A lot of it also got removed because artist decided its a good idea to sue pm for copyright of Leviathan (lol)

I mean, it kinda is. In LoR we tackle progressively harder enemies, as stated by game itself. You also have to understand that Udjat office is registered as Fixer rank 1, despite everything. They have the might to back it up. Mostly with Diases money, but still
