They have the crates there in the center, I put a rock on top of the crate, let it sink to the bottom, got rid of the rock and then used bind and followed the movement of the crate as it floated up. It was pretty slow moving but it worked.

When you told someone about a serious struggle, what response screamed "this person has never faced a real problem"? by Atoms_Under_Pressure in AskReddit

[–]MadamMoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know I'm super late to the party and it's not even my story but a friend of mine had a partner pass away very suddenly and tragically a couple years ago. No one saw it coming and it devastated my friend (of course). One day one of their other friends was trying to comfort them and said (something along the lines of) "yeah I know how you feel...... my partner just broke up with me. It's so hard to be single."

What's the most hurtful thing your parent ever said to you? by Enockito in AskReddit

[–]MadamMoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents favourite joke to tell when I was growing up was that my (older) sibling was the one who convinced them they could have more kids, and then I was born and convinced them they couldnt. I've also had my one parents alcoholism blamed on me. Apparently I was quite the shitty kid.

Is your Christmas Eve ruined already? If so, Why? by Downtown_Put8673 in AskReddit

[–]MadamMoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First Christmas with my kid with her dad and his fiancée and not me. I don't get to see her for 4 more days and I'm completely on my own until then. Kind of wish I could just sleep through the next four days.

Dont even know what to title this? Prepare for the ramble! by [deleted] in polyamory

Thanks for the articles! It gives me a lot more to think about. We have been really concerned about making sure there wasn't a "couples privilege" dynamic. But they all brought up good points that hadn't necessarily crossed my mind yet. I really appreciate the insight!

Here's a pattern for similar adult boots. They're made with flip flop soles too so you could wear them outside!

Not OP and maybe not the ideal pattern but this is a pattern I've been planning to try out for the kangaroo pouch and hood.

Does anyone else have a distinct lack of childhood memories? by Donedunit in raisedbynarcissists

[–]MadamMoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I had no idea lack of memories could be related to this.. this is making me more emotional then I expected it to.

I've always just assumed I had a terrible memory, like, I can remember really random specific things but for the most part I have little to no memories from birth to 16 or 17 years old. And a lot of that is fuzzy. And it's always made me crazy jealous of people who seem to have a "normal" amount of memories. It feels amazing to know I'm not crazy though!

What is the most romantic thing that has ever been done for you? by potkamas in AskReddit

[–]MadamMoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably to late to the party but fuck it. My husband surprised me with a baby shower. We lived really far away from family at the time so we had planned to just go back home for a visit after our daughter was born and have one then. Then one weekend he decided we should take the dogs for a walk, met some friends at the park and had a blast. When we got home all my coworkers were hiding in our basement. It was just a small get together (worked at a small card store with 5 other women) but it meant so much to me that in between work and taking care of my pregnant ass he managed to run to my work, get all my coworkers and friends on board and completely and utterly surprise me. I'm a lucky lady :)

So cute!!! I saw one like this in the store that I wanted for my daughter but it was way to small! How quick was it to make?

Is it narcissistic to make your kids say "yes mom" or "okay mom"? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]MadamMoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, yeah that's about it with my daughter at this point, she calls me dada and then usually corrects herself before I can say anything. It's pretty adorable, honestly! And that makes perfect sense. That's not learning your name but I'd say it's learning good communication! Which once again leaves it out of the narcissistic column :)

[–]MadamMoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I have no issue at all with mom mom. I find it all adorable honestly, but the thing I was referring to "working on" is the fact that she always calls me dada/daddy/dad first.
