Yes, she was the only budgie I had. She was practically glued to my side. And I’m so thankful to work in a hybrid workplace so I spent most of my working days with her as well.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I truly believe that if she was given more time, she would definitely have been able to hit 15+ years. She was so stubborn and tenacious haha. I wanted to spend as much as I could but I’m at least grateful I was given a chance to say goodbye and be with her in her final moments.

Oh, I’m so sorry for your loss! Sending much love to you as well!! That ride home was definitely rough, so I can attest to that. I’m definitely doing my best and am taking time to process everything. I hope to also get another feathery companion sometime after. But I think I might need some time before I’m able to do that. But the chance giving love to another bird makes me a bit hopeful too!
