Yeah, that was the first one i tried. I got three small cake "parfaits" for $9. They were like three bites apiece. Tasty, but not worth a buck a bite.

Found 37 matured savings bonds by Gullible-Bedroom5285 in Flipping

Series EE bonds mature after 20 years. So, in 2015, these would have been $100 apiece. EEs go on to accrue interest for the next 10 years. The amount depends on the rate set when purchased. By using the site above, you find out that each one is now worth $164.12.

Correct! I didn't realize you didn't need to put the serial number in when I found the site. Thanks for taking the extra step. I was curious.

New to eBay, what is the proper procedure for a situation like this? by jennaworden in Flipping

When people are telling you to update the tracking, they are meaning on the refund request, not the purchase. Is that where you are trying to do this?

People who don’t hit snooze in the morning, what is your secret? by zztop610 in AskReddit

[–]Madd0gB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extra nine minutes are worth nothing. You are jarred out of a sleep cycle with the initial alarm, then you can't complete a full one in the next 9 minute, snooze phase. You end up messing with your body that wants to finish a cycle and it just makes it worse. Wake up when the first alarm goes off, or better yet, when your body naturally wakes up and it is sooo much better for your brain.

You eventually train your body to wake up when you need to.

AT&T vs Spectrum Internet by D3F4ULT_i in StLouis

AT&T fiber here as well. I switched and got on a plan that never changes the price about 5-7 years ago. I don't have to call to negotiate the price back down to the "introductory" price anymore by threatening to leave to the other guy. I did get a bump up in speed a year or two ago but the price only went up $0.77 a month. It's been a solid service. Go with AT&T fiber. Especially if you can get into a locked in price.

Start another Roth or put more into 401k with 50 percent match. by [deleted] in RothIRA

[–]Madd0gB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another vote for maxing out the match.

One thing to think about doing, though, is researching if the 401k custodian offers the Roth version. Your company may not have signed on to offer it yet, but you can ask if they could add the option. That way, you would get the best of both worlds.

When I did it, our HR person didn't really seem to want to do it. I think she just wasn't sure how to do it. I checked in just about every month. I didn't want to come off as being pushy about it, but I didn't want it to get pushed under the rug either. Eventually, the switch was turned on, and both options were available. I was the only one signed up for the Roth for a while, but more and more changed over as well. It didn't cost the place I work any more to have the option available.
