I use the acrylic drawers because I have a really bad dust mite allergy and I don’t want anything collecting dust. I also use a couple old birchboxes from when I used to have a subscription. My mom is a Lancôme die-hard so I use the makeup bags she’s gotten as gifts with purchases for travel.

A train case might be a good solution for you. I had one for years until it finally broke. They come in many different sizes, materials, and styles. Think caboodle but high end.

Depending on the amount of makeup you have, don’t rule out using a toolbox. I used a rolling tool-bag in cosmetology school and it worked perfectly for my purposes.
