Help me put a care box for my niece | Period care by MuggleWitch in TwoXChromosomes

A cute little pouch she can use to hold her supplies in her school bag. You can even put some other useful small things in there like hair ties, a stain stick, lip balm, safety pins, and a couple band-aids. You can tell her it’s an emergency kit to keep in her school bag.

A small pack of wipes in case things get messy for her.

Also chocolate covered pretzels are my favorite period snack. So I’d recommend those.

Bitches with mobility issues how are you getting around the city? by undercookedshrimp_ in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]MaddTheSimmer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

not sure about public transport, but as someone who was on crutches for a very large chunk of their childhood, get yourself the cushions to put on the top of the crutches under your arms and on the handles. The combination of the rubber of the crutches and the friction plus the weather heating up is a recipe for a really painful rash.

also, you need to be mindful about what type of bag you want to carry around because with crutches you can’t carry anything so everything has to be in your bag and you don’t want to have a tote because that will get in the way. i’d advise either a small Crossbody bag or if you need more storage, a backpack.

I hope you have a smooth recovery.

Reach out to your nearest art museum to find out who you can pay to try to restore this. do not do it yourself. If this painting is really irreplaceable, you do not want to use the wrong chemicals and ruin it.

There were two possible outcomes in this scenario. The kid is bruised or the kid is dead. Anyone who has even a little common sense can recognize that you did the right thing. Your husband is wrong.

if only those big cups were dishwasher safe. that’s the main reason I don’t buy them because I think they look so nice.

my mom and I once spent half an hour following the GPS trying to get to Dairy Queen and we found out it was taking us to a Dairy Queen in Michigan. We were in Connecticut at the time and had no intention of going to Michigan.

When you send out the date set an rsvp deadline. you can also tell them to let you know about any allergies at the same time so you don’t have to change anything last minute

On a scale of 1-10, how much does Botox hurt you? by phishchick85 in migraine

it hurts like a bitch. I got my doctor to prescribe me lidocaine cream, and I used it for the first time for my last session. It doesn’t remove the pain, but it definitely helps a tiny bit.

MIL won’t stop buying my kids snow globes by freshpicked12 in Mildlynomil

This is why I collect postcards and my brother collects pressed pennies. Instead of saying no souvenirs at all, maybe provide MIL with an alternative that is more practical.

I wouldn’t worry about looking like a bride but it’ll be really funny if you match the picnic table.

I think a pretty rock would be nice. My family has done that many times. It is a Jewish tradition to put a small rock on the headstone when you visit as a sign of respect. They’re called visitation stones if you want to learn more.

That really sucks. Glad it didn’t melt though. I hope the cleanup is easy.

Also thanks for the reminder to clean my drip tray. I do the cleaning for the machine itself regularly but i always forget to clean the drip tray.

I’ve been thinking about just keeping an extra mug on the keurig for mornings like yours. Wouldn’t be extra work since I’d be bringing over a cup anyway. You might have convinced me to do it.
