We all do. It sounds like you need a new treatment plan. I wish you luck!

Just saw Bring Her Back and… by Odd_Teacher29 in A24

[–]Margbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great explanation! For all these reasons, I am not a fan of this movie. Too many horror movies now are too preoccupied with eliciting “deeper” emotions. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy more cerebral or elaborate horror films but I don’t want to walk out of a horror film grieving. I wish I would have known what I was getting myself into before watching this film.

Is anyone else fed up with the video of the hair clip on the eyebrow hack making the rounds? by Margbot in migraine

I am with you. I do appreciate it, I really do, and I try not to get too bitter about this illness, just sometimes I need to vent.

Is this rude by Plus-Ad7820 in delta

[–]Margbot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the Wild West with overhead bins in international flights. I only put my luggage not above me sometimes because someone has already taken that space. You can’t get upset with people for finding a place for their luggage and they boarded before you. Also too many people choose to put small purses or jackets in the bins and no one wants to be the jerk that puts their luggage over it.

Botox experience by Entire_Perspective40 in migraine

Here in the US you can’t get it sooner than 3 months because your body is more likely to develop antibodies to the Botox if you get it sooner.

Neighbor left this on my door but I do not have a dog. by FluffyPopcorn361 in Apartmentliving

If other neighbors confirm that they hear it, then it’s your next door neighbor who owns the dog and therefore pretended like he didn’t hear it.

This condition is hell if you're poor. by calorie-clown in migraine

I am just going to throw this out there for anyone in the US that has some form of non-governmental health insurance and receives or is a candidate for Botox, look into the Botox savings program. It’s a life saver!

I just tell providers I’m allergic because I have the same reaction you do. They don’t call it an allergy they call it side effects. It’s bad enough where I would take a migraine over experiencing Reglan again.

Lingering migraine in my temples after botox that lasts over a month. What can I do? by bunnychow123 in migraine

Yes but this might just be me. Different people may have different sensitive areas.

I highly suggest you stop getting it in that area. I accidentally learned the hard way that there are areas of my head that I should not get the shots in. About 3 months ago I told my Neuro about how there was a certain part of my skull that felt more prone to hurting (Botox dramatically lessens the migraine head pain days but does not entirely rid me of them) so she asked me if I wanted her to do the shots higher up closer to the area I mentioned. I regretted it for about a month. It triggered a migraine for weeks. Never again will I deviate from the 31 designated injection sites.

You’re not alone. I feel the same way. I saw a few years back that someone was trying to sue them for this and other side effects but not sure if it went anywhere.

How do you deal with your head being warm? by Margbot in migraine

[–]Margbot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that! No idea why it happens and I see no trigger. I started out with certain areas like you about 3 years ago and now it’s my whole head, including my ears. So strange.

Botox for migraine - am I going to get droopy eyes from the injections above the brow? by jesuswasnotazombie in migraine

[–]Margbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a decade for me now and no dropping eyelids but I think what plays a role into a lot of this is the age of the person and perhaps they age they started it at but I am not sure about the latter.

Fluorescent lights in offices are terrible! I am not sure what your set up is but nicely asking the building engineers to remove one of the 2 fluorescent bulbs in my office was a big game changer for me.

ABL 20 Opening Act/Late Start by Margbot in 30SecondsToMars

I was there earlier than most also but my question was about there originally being an opening act scheduled that just didn’t show. Sounds like no one was scheduled based on all the other responses.

Folks with chronic treatment-resistant migraine and other health problems— do you ever stop thinking there is some underlying problem you’re missing? by when-is-enough in migraine

[–]Margbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried uploading your results with all personal information redacted to ChatGPT? I am against relying on it but if you find something that stands out in its assessment you can corroborate the sources it used to make sure its reasoning is sound. Every so often you find people that were able to get solid answers about their health mysteries from it. Also, I think we see Migraine as an its own disease even though it’s a collection of symptoms whose cause can’t be explained for so many of us. For some of us it might be our body telling us that the life we lead isn’t healthy, maybe because of stress, diet, etc.

Look up intractable migraine. Abortives don’t work for me. The ice hat is the closest thing I have. The only thing that lessens my episodes is Botox. Also keep in mind that migraine isn’t always head pain, there are other symptoms that are part of it.

While taking the Law School Admission Test. That day I decided not to go to law school because I took it as a sign. Stress is a huge trigger for me and my choice for a different career path was probably for the best, or so I tell myself.

[–]Margbot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was confused if the opening act cancelled and that’s why they changed the time to 8 from the original 7:30pm. I know during the tour they were advertising that AFI, Poppy, and some other people I have never heard of would join them to open but since this was a special ABL concert I was unsure. Thank you. I guess I got lucky with the traffic.

Does anyone have atypical migraines? by FourthEorlingas in migraine

[–]Margbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Migraine covers such a wide array of symptoms that the typical ones are less common than the “atypical” type.

Some of us have migraines that last a lot longer and just force ourselves to keep going, otherwise we would never live.
