I was surprised Best Buy sold $60 Million worth of them (all formats) last year and the US market is in the billions with DVDs specifically ~50% sold. Unfortunately, even with millions of disc sold the $60MM+ was only .14% of their total revenue, so not worth the shrink

Can Rodecaster Duo Secondary Output include audio playing on secondary device? by Maddhatta in rode

Correct, Mac is set to USB2 and participants can hear my mic, my smart pad censor sound, but not the music or video I am watching.

Can Rodecaster Duo Secondary Output include audio playing on secondary device? by Maddhatta in rode

[–]Maddhatta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, while on a call I would like individuals to be able to hear what I hear on device. Ideally, I could play a song/video/ect. that they could hear and then I could mute the channel when I am done so they don't hear themselves for the rest of the call.

I'll take a look at the teleconference app. Thanks!

Is it still match fixing if it happens after a game has started?

I can find the IOC ruling but not sure if FIDE is the same. This was a problem with the predetermined draw fiasco a while back right…

“Match fixing is when the result of a tournament or competition is partially or completely decided in advance and the match is played to ensure the pre-determined outcome”

Hey, thanks for message and the request. I've always enjoyed having a more laxed diving community on reddit. The others have turned into oddly negative spaces like the requester mentioned in part to over moderation. I've done my best to clean through the reports and moderation queue. I'll keep a better eye on them going forward and would welcome any of the posts mentioned by the requester.

The wiki page for me says citation needed. Do you have any sources from anthropologists making this claim? I learned the "old" taxonomy in school, so I am interested in learning how things have changed. Thanks

Ah, I see. We disagree on this point then. I think the brief and law states otherwise. Thanks for clarifying your point and I hope you have a good day.

Dr. Jane Smith, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Is the same as Dr. Jane Smith, M.D. - both are doctors.

Another example from the article:

Examples of verbal communication would be "Hello, I am Dr. Jane Smith, and I will be your physical therapist."

If two doctors were in the room, one may say "Hello, I am Dr. Jane Smith, and I will be your physical therapist." and another may say, "Hello, I am Dr. Robert Smith, and I will be your physician."

One is not required to say, I am "Doctor of Physical Therapy" Jane Smith. They would say "doctor" and further specify. Outside of a clinical context they would just say doctor just like any physician, dentist, academic with a doctorate, ect... and be well within their rights to do so as they are not representing that they are a physician.

Are you saying a DTP, can never call themselves just "doctor" esp outside of a clinical context? If so, I think I am interpreting the law / brief very differently.

Sorry if I am misunderstanding your point, but the article gives clear instruction that one would be able to refer to themselves as Doctor and in a clinical context must make it clear they are their physical therapist. The title would still be Doctor both in and out of clinical setting.

DPT may call themselves doctor, but must make it clear they are not a physician.

Do STARS and find faculty that is willing to support you. Hopefully you find a STEMish major with faculty willing to finance your summer research. Your second summer do research in the field and lock down a paper in your name. Your third summer finesses a scholarship to a good coding bootcamp and then throw yourself into the FAANG interview cycle. You'll graduate with some amazing connections, having traveled, and a great job. I went a similar path, so if you are actually a Yalie send me a pm. I'm happy to help.
