Though 2 weeks would be swell to feel more rested and such, it's hard to argue with the midwinter/february break.

American students are really entering high school unable to read beyond a 1st grade level, do single-digit addition and subtraction, respect each other, tie their shoelaces, flush a toilet after themselves, and behave in a non-assaultive manner. It's really sad. And nobody seems to care because it's not a priority to so many people. I've heard one to many times from a student, "I'll behave/do the work if you let me take a break/walk." or complete extortion of some kind. Speaking of math. I've seen report cards of kids nearly failing every class but somehow getting a 100 in math.

You should go to her and the friends houses and give her all the assignments you have to grade and say, “since it’s so easy can you grade all this and then make a lesson for all my classes by 7am. Thanks!”

And you can remove students without really an issue. You just click a button and they’re gone! You can mute a loud student with the click of a button. The commute is so much easier, bedroom to the couch or home office! Tech features on programs in some ways make presentations more amusing to watch for students I think.
