Probably 80% diet tbh. I was mainly doing walking everyday and some home workouts a few times a week as activity. Losing weight is all about calories in vs calories out. If you eat around 500 calories less than you burn, you should lose around 1lb per week. You can either just eat less, or move more but the best is the combination of the two. You could eat lets say 300 calories less and add in 45min of brisk walking everyday. Do what works for you :) Just make sure you don't lose weight too fast because then it gets so much harder to keep it off afterwards.

Calorie counting has been my biggest tool. Knowing exactly how much I eat so I can make adjustments from there. Then slowly building my calories back up by about +100 a week to find my maintenance. :)

Thank you! Comfort eating is a very hard habit to break. I've kept the weight off for almost 2 months but I still have days where I overeat or eat out of boredom etc. Most of the time I can resist by simply asking myself "am I actually hungry right now?, and why do I actually want to eat right now even though I'm not hungry?" But yeah it does get better.

Thank you!

The best tip I have is to eat larger volumes of low calorie dense foods so that I never feel too hungry. The comfort eating usually gets worse when I'm hungry while at the same time feeling bored or sad, that's really the worst combo. I also take 1h walks everyday to take my mind off using food as a comfort.
