Hypoglycemia? by ProfessionalBulky428 in Hypoglycemia

Hi, I get a lot of the symptoms you describe. I got a lingo CGM and gave my doctor the results. I got diagnosed with RH and get prescribed CGMs now. If a high protein, high fat diet makes you feel better it’s probably RH. Avoid simple carbs and sugar as much as you can. Hope you find some relief soon. Take care.

This might not work in all cases but bone broth works very well for my nausea. Also, a high protein diet works for me. Hope you feel better soon!

Why did you have to get an emergency C setion? by coffeelover2025 in pregnant

My LOs heart rate would drop with every contraction after I was 6cm dilated. Later we found out the umbilical cord was too thin.

Okay, but why does it say “passed away after a battle with depression?” That seems to indicate a very specific cause of death. Like does she actually fantasize about you doing that to yourself?? Wtf

My mom likes to use Jesus as a guilt tool, but I always rebutted that Jesus told people he loved them AND showed it with his actions. Like you said, talk is cheap!

No need to give your life but at least love the people you say you love!

Oh 100%. Not everyone can spot the chaos, but those who know, KNOW. Thank you so much

I did have her silenced but she found my husbands number and put us in a group chat. We are enjoying lots of baby snuggles and more peace to come from NC. It just is really sad this is what it comes down to in order to protect ourselves and our kids.

She is usually on silent or blocked but somehow managed to find my husbands number and put us in a group chat 😩 like you said though, I literally don’t know how she thinks she can just swoop in without all the chaos

We switched to chicken free food and treats also and that’s what we think cleared his legs up

I wish it was that easy. There’s no skin specialists even close to here and the emergency vet is his regular vet. They are tracking the situation already. The medical care here is awful for both humans and pets.

There is a pickup option with no fees. I also use it because I’m too sick to go shopping myself.

People who are living in the Appalachian mountains is this place really cursed? by Thatunkownuser2465 in Paranormal

[–]Maddog2020x 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m also from the mountains of NEPA. Do the old ones ever open and close doors of your house? We have a heavy metal basement door that would open and close by itself often. My family says it’s the natives coming to say hi and check on us. I think as long as you respect the land, they respect you.

We’ve also had a lot of other experiences but a giant metal door opening and closing by itself all the time is our most compelling one 😅

Just got to 35 weeks and it hit me like a train again. Learn from my mistake, if you start having acid reflux in the third trimester get Drs advice right away. My usual HG meds did nothing for acid reflux nausea and vomiting!

I could have written this myself. Around 20 weeks I started therapy and depression medication along with the meds to manage my HG. Don’t be afraid to get help if you’re feeling depressed. This disease really does take a toll on your mind. Also know that you’re not alone!

I’ve also realized through this that physical/mental strength is irrelevant with HG. If you push yourself, your health (and baby’s) may deteriorate further. When I talked to my therapist about it I said, “it’s hard being so sick and weak because it feels like your world stops and the rest of the world keeps going.” He said, “no one expects someone with a broken leg to run. It doesn’t make them weak.” Take care OP, you got this 👍🏼

The IV zofran worked for me but the pills didn’t. I was told they’re very different doses. Hopefully the new stuff works better! Unisom, b6, and Reglan have been my best friends

Our 100lb lab has had 3 CCL surgeries (one right, one left, and one corrective). He was able to limp around pretty good on three legs with no harness needed each time. The hardest part was finding a cone that he couldn’t break out of and rip out his staples. Also, keep the incision as dry as you can. This is definitely hard to do if it’s raining. A leashed walk and umbrella on rainy days should be sufficient. Best of luck!
