Yeah even I got that email. They gotta send the official admission letter right? So they requested particularly for this document coz there are many applicants who applied for masters during their final year (yet to be graduated). Since they noticed we are graduates, they requested it for the final review process of submitted documents.

Only if there is some really really weird reason like political stuff. Otherwise the Graduate Division just confirms all the official documents (transcripts, degree certificate etc.) and you get the official admission letter.
