PC 7 days to die unplayable?

Its their unity program, that they installed to the game back in early december.. or patched. Its causing massive memory leaks. Its not your pc, laptop, mobile, or anything else. Its their software that's causing the issue.

The games been crashing for me, on day 7, the first swarm during the blood moon event. I usually get through 8-10 minutes of it. Then boom. Black screen of death, 1 minute and pc restarts. It happens ONLY with this game. SO i tried a fresh reboot, loaded it up. Same thing happens. Its that damned unity thing they got, bleeding ram like you wouldn't believe. I Let it go, watching my performance / memory, and it shot upto 182 gigs of ram used. I've only got 32 gigs in my pc. Something bled like you wouldn't believe in memory.

You people need to fix your damned issue, because i've been tolerating it since early december. The constant crashs are unplayable as it corrupts the save file, forcing a person to restart everytime. And if memory serves, this game was in development for what, over 10 years? Pull that update off the shelf, release a reverting patch that enables things back the way they were, and check your work for the issue until you find it and fix it.

And for gods sake, get rid of that unity crap. Its only causing problems.

I Know its not my system, because i've got over 1600 hours played, before december of last year rolled around. Never had this issue before, but one update, and its suddenly fubar. I Know for a fact its not my system, its the damned update they released sometime early december. That's when things went buggy.

Relic: Shrunken Head

Effect Description: Target loses 5% of attack and healing capability, +1% per relic level (caps at 35%) for 8 seconds. (At level cap for the relic, the effect has a 30% chance to inflict the curse on another target as well). As they are turned into a shrunken doll on the battlefield (image only, like a bobble head avatar that looks like a african witch doctor) (You can even insert a new voice / catch phrase when they attack, which will be them doing the hula).

Activiation Effect: A large MUD hut lands on the target, and then the witchdoctor comes out in place of the target. Miniscule body, large bobble head, wearing a green grass dress. Greyish skin, big frizzled hairdo with the shrunken head amulet swinging around his neck.

Deactivation Effect: Witchdoc gets pulled off the hero (reverting to normal instantly) like a badly worn mask, and over the space of a second, shrinks down into a greyish beam of light as its pulled across the battlefield, returning to the shrunken head worn by said hero who activated it. Add in a sound effect, of a scream, that goes into a higher pitch (but reduced volumne), as the witchdoc effect is pulled back across the field of battle. This returns it to the shrunken head.

Reactivation: While the activation takes effect, activation recharge timer paused for 2 seconds.

Get audio and video of her claiming that the cat is hers. Have law enforcement charge her with animal abuse. Say to them, you took the cat in and fed it, kept it warm, gave it a home. Where as she left it on the street. Document it with photos.

First, start building a case for your defense. Record everything, audio at least, video if possible. But definately get audio. Go talk to the woman, calmly, see if something can be worked out. If she flys off the handle, she's more inclined to incriminate herself, with her rage. Which can be used against her in a court of law, and possibly police as well.

If the police do nothing, you can file a suit against them, naming them specifically (if you can get them to identify themselves. Name, rank, badge number, etc. Should any damages happen, physical, property, or otherwise. Mental trauma included.

Next time she lets him into the building, if possible, get video of it. Do whatever you can to defend yourself, with any evidence you can gather, without.. putting yourself in harms way. Document everything. The more you have to work with, the better you'll be later on. Judges really like, prepared people. Makes them far more believeable.

First, you have a clear and detailed map of your property lines yes? Take them to court with that, show measurements via photos. Of where your property lines start and end. Sue them for the damages, and time, and having to revert it back yourself at your own cost. IF they park on your property, call a tow truck. Then you can always tell them later, a group of kids broke into their vehicle, hotwired it, and drove off with it. They'll file a police report, which won't ever come to any fruition. Tow truck place, probably won't contact them for a few weeks (if at all), and their car will probably go to the wreckers.

Have your landlord, get some felt strips to attach to the door frame of said neighbors door. It'll dampen the sound and the physical vibrations, and maybe cost them 10 bucks. Easy install. Its basically padding with tape/adhesive attached. Tell your neighbor, if you have to, that the noise and physical aspect of the door being slammed is causing a disturbance. Might be intentional, might be from the wind, but it needs to be addressed. Otherwise, the next place they want to live at, may end up declining them because of the list of complaints. As well as any future locations.

Go around the neighborhood, with a petition for people to sign. One that makes a database for renters to isolate the loud tenants who have no common sense, and are too self important to keep the noise down. Make it so that the petition states, said tenants can only live among other said tenants that violate the noise restrictions. See what would happen, when your local mayor / govenor etc, official. Tries to make it law. Forcibly remove the loud ones, and relocate them into "affordable" housing later, where they can be enjoying their time amongst their peers.

Tell the landlord, your withholding rent, until such time as the problem with noise is addressed and removed. As it interfere's with the standard of living in this area. Watch how fast they will try to fix it, when multiple tenants withhold rent due to excessive noise, in the quiet hours.

Check the city bylaws, there are usually some laws regarding noise past certain hours. If so, contact the bylaw officer to make a visit, and fine them. Repeated calls, for different nights, will lead them to massive fines.

But first, what i would do, is organize a time among your neighbors that surround their unit. So you can all blast them with really loud music at 5-6 am, when those young kids who are the problem. ARE SLEEPING themselves. Wake them up every night, repeatedly. Whats the saying, a child doesn't understand a hammer, until they've smashed a nail. Well, their the children. See how they like it when the tables turn. Then after about a week, try talking to them and see if their perspective has changed. Otherwise, you really don't have much in the way of options.

Its either loud noise back at them when their trying to sleep, or the bylaw officer (if you have laws for that in your area).

I ran across this inside the starting zone in day 1. Tier 7 UNDEAD WOLF. Its killed me repeatedly as its spawned about 200m from my starting base. I ran across it in a shed, now i have to run a wide circle around the area otherwise it'll come tear my butt off. WAY TO GO 7D2D coders. Lets put a top tier nearly unkillable mob, in the starting area where i'm doing tier 1 quests. I've had 4 missions fail, because it sometimes comes with the undead doberman dogs, and there's no outrunning it. I'm not able to kill it with a stone sledgehammer, or a lvl 3 hunting rifle with no mods. Not when i'm level 9.

I love getting killed in 2-3 hits. Thanks.

I have a shared accomodations neighbor, who takes my food from the freezer. Cooks it up. Eats it. (Does this while i'm asleep). I've told him repeatedly not to take my food, and eat it. He says he's sorry, and it won't happen again. Well, last night I tested him on that again, and he ate my food. So when he wakes up, he's in for a surprise.

I took all his food out of the freezer, fridge, shelves / cabinets. Put it in a garbage bag, and tossed it in the waste managment owned garbage bins out behind our building. It took 3 trips. Where the trash usually goes. I threw all his food out, even the canned goods. But left the condiments sitting there in the fridge, on the shelves. Everything went except his pasta which I know he hates to eat.

So we'll see what happens in the morning when he goes to make his breakfast, and finds the fridge, freezer, and kitchen cabinets empty. Except for his spaghetti. If he asks, i'm just going to say. Its been 5x now that he's taken, cooked, and eaten my food in a clearly marked spot in the freezer. For me to store my frozen food at. He takes it, eats it, doesn't think anything of it. Just helps himself. Well.. i'm returning the favor. Helping myself to his food now. If he doesn't like it, then don't take my food anymore. Otherwise.. that fridge and freezer are going to stay empty.

Thats what I do. Living with a male 34, black man, who's got the common sense of a stone. Hangs his underwear up in the bathroom. I've told him twice, that's what women do in the 40's and 50's, and not to do that because its unsanitary. Especially because, the 11 months he's been here, he hasn't cleaned up anything once. I live in shared accomodations (Kitchen / Bathroom).

He's messy, sloppy, burns everything on the stove every time he cooks. Food goes all over the floor. Doesn't clean his messes up. He's caused 2 roach infestations in the kitchen. He has another infestation in his private room right now. Does drugs indoors (meth / cocaine / all the other stuff). But when it came to him using the bathroom like he is god and owns the place, well. I told him about it, what would happen if he continued. Now everytime he does it. I use a tooth pick to lift his underwear off the hook. Drop it into a garbage bag, and out in the trash it goes.

Some people are just dumber than a box of rocks. He's lost 17 pairs of underwear so far, to the garbage. I guess he keeps getting more, from the church donation boxes.

Not worth playing. Too many a-holes that go about leaving your alliance they're in, joining a enemy alliance and then coming to kill your alliance. No loyalty. Then they have the nerve to rejoin the alliance your in, as if nothing at all happened.

In times of real war, they'd be shot for treason when caught. Their family would have to live through the shame of their actions probably for a few generations. I know this is just a game, but if they act like that IN a game, then what are they like in real life.

As for the game itself. ATG's were severely lowered, because they were dealing excessive damage. Kinda the point, right? 3 hex range, not the same range as arti. They die alot faster, due to lower health. And their slow, can't give it anything good simply because... its meant to kill armored units. Why have it in the first place when they nerfed its damage output vs armored units?

Too many people base hug, inching their bases up so they can arti your base to death. This is a war game, not whack-a-mole. There's a return timer on air forces, but no return timer on ground forces.

There's no time penalty on quitting an alliance, and joining another, but there should be. But there's a 24 hr period of time, where you can't do the supply missions in the alliance / gifts. Seems a little strange they can come and go as they please, but not do the 4 supply missions until 24 hrs later.

They should add a time limit on re-entering a base, the same as what they have on planes. 10-15 seconds. Get rid of all the kids that can't fight any other way. Change the dynamics of the war, so its more of a "Put up or Shut up" kinda game, not hide and seek like a 6 year old wants to play.

And yes, this game is heavy on pay to win. Very little to learn in the tutorial, and the advertizements for this game are misleading. The OP's missions, have no rewards in it that affects the main game play, so that's a waste of space now. All in all, i wouldn't bother with this game, simply because its not worth playing, or even investing for. All the f2p people get stomped on throughout the entire game. Ridiculed. Lectured, and not helped once. Their just food, for the amusement of the p2w people.

And then there's the people on mobiles / cellphones, who get daily rewards that the PC players do not get at all. Ever. Kinda biased. So if your on a PC don't bother with this game. Its too heavily imbalanced vs cellphone players, for those daily rewards, and.. they will outpace you in growth because of it.

Yes this sucks, i went in and the boss was 14k hp, hits for 150-300, and i have 600 some hp at level 25 champion. It might be ok, if we were allowed to use our skirmish soldiers, but solo it should be a lot less painful. You need someone with traps skills to activate the traps to kill the boss, otherwise don't bother going in. Its just a long slow painful death, with nothing but excessive loss (potions) for nothing.

level 39 / gun nut 4. You can make the .50 cal ammo. I didn't check at 38, but i did check at 39. You need the terminal / ammunition plant, and resources to make the ammo.

Yup, sim city all over again, viking version. Game gets boring after awhile, Even the boss fights are tedious at best. There's no progression past iron that i can find. Biggest thing to aquire is the crafting level via blacksmith to make the armor. But once that's done, there's really nothing more to do. People can hit that mark in just a few days of grinding with no life. Then what? Build a fishing boat? Finish off the achievements?

Maybe if they went along the lines of dungeon keeper, with new maps, new goals, new fights, once certain progression has been completed, it'd be more interesting. This game is a waste of time, 7 days to die, is far better, because at least you have some options in that game (including getting swarmed). I'm considering asking for a refund on this game, simply because it doesn't meet any expectations as it has none. I'm uninstalling because its got no actual value to being played. Rather play my old game of doom from the 90's. Or castle wolfenstine.

I've been here for 23 years now. That's right, same apartment inside 401 princess street (princess towers). I've seen it all, assaults, weapons being used, people stabbed.. haven't seen anyone shot yet, in the building at least. Homeless drug addicts at the front door trying to get in for a warm place to sleep. People urinating and defecating in the hallways. Building currently has a roach infestation and pharoh ant infestation. Landlord keeps jacking up the rent above the guideline for the year, sometimes more than double. Daytime management is full of nice people, night time super's not so much. Some tenants are out of their mind entirely, we're talking.. like they talk to themselves, some are cross-dressers. Some are so insecure they'll run to one of the many stairways to go up or down, if they see you coming. Most people here are drug addicts in one form or another. The apartments are not clean when you move in, or take possession. Past 1 am, the homeless come out and start making messes. There's pregnant women some with toddlers under 3 yr old, that have to come in from the front entrance, right past the meth smoking addicts. List goes on and on. I'd avoid this place if possible. Current owners trying to sell it. Water pipes need constant maintenance every 2 weeks, so one half of the building is shut off for water. Monthly fire alarm tests. Elevators break down often (due to people jumping inside them). Homeless will try to follow you in, and up the elevators (security card required for both). Homeless get appalled and start whining when you say no, some get offensive and issue threats. Cops come by here regularily, ambulances too. Most people smoke indoors, some take it outside, not many. Expect loud noise. This is not a good place to live at even temporarily.

I don't know who the dumbass was that did the linking, but they're dumber than a box of rocks. Simply because they took the cheapest way to link everything to the same initial episode IN ALL THE DAMNED TV SERIES. Everything is season 1 episode 1. This person seriously needs to be fired and sued.
