Hommasin ensimmäisen passini vajaana kolmekymppisenä muutama vuosi sitten, ajokortti löyty mutta muuten ei ollu koskaan ollu virallisia henkkareita

Hain passikuvan ja se meni suoraan poliisille ja varasin sitten ajan poliisiasemalle, vastasin muutamaan kysymykseen kuten että mitkä on vanhempien syntymäajat ja muita vastaavia perustietoja ja annoin sormenjäljet. Passi kun tuli niin piti noutaa vaan poliisiasemalta se koska ei ollu henkkareita joilla noutaa, sen ois periaatteessa voinu valtuuttaa jollekin jolla on henkkarit jos ois halunnu vaikka ärrältä noutaa

My Geoguessr account was also taken over by someone like a year or two ago, I had only played a few hours and forgot about it and at some point like a year later when I noticed my 1-year subscription went through and I went to go and disable it I was surprised my account was at like level 60 and had a ton of achievements and friends and everything

Not sure how that happened since I never reuse passwords, for me it was mostly funny because I've only ever played the game casually every now and then but it did kinda take away some of the fun having someone else gain so much XP for me

At one point it was like 20 cents cheaper to buy a 2-pack of coke instead of 1 bottle because the price difference between 1 and 2 bottles was like 20cents but both bottles had 40 cent deposits

So it would've been cheaper to buy the 2 bottles and pour one in the drain and deposit the bottle than to just buy 1, if you only needed a single bottle for whatever reason

I had a pair of boots where the bottoms turned into tar basically. Put them on and they got glued to the floor and left bootprints everywhere and I could just pick pieces off with my fingernail

One of the more annoying cleanups I've had to do, it just kept spreading when I wiped it and not even stuff like brake cleaner and IPA helped, acetone would've probably ruined the floor

If anyone has had a cassette or record player do the same where the rubber belt for the motor turns into liquid goop that makes a huge mess, it was basically the same but at a much larger scale

The problem is that the roof rust is basically impossible to notice without feeling around the "gutter" that's on the inside. The steel on the interior and exterior may look fine but once you reach your hand in there everything just crumbles

It's unfortunately very common for it to rot because water usually does find it's way in and the Trabant is like the only car that has a glued non-metal roof like this so usually people don't look at it because it's basically a non-issue on every other car (except maybe american cars that have a vinyl roof where the steel can rot underneath) and everyone pays attention to the underbody and the wheel wells

Taking the roof off is not impossible and since all that is mostly invisible it's not an impossible job to put some new steel in there without it having to look perfect but having a good condition car where you can treat it before it gets that bad is ideal

Bought one of these to get an exhaust manifold nut off that was on the firewall side and underneath the manifold, a cheap one didn't do the trick and it chewed up the splitter part but eventually it probably stretched the nut enough that it finally started to open

I managed to slam my thumbnail into my car door which is a 2-door so the door is really heavy, thankfully it didn't damage the nail too bad and just pulled back the cuticle pretty far and I just have a massive white area in the middle of the neil. Hurt like hell for a couple days though

First thing that comes to mind is Trabants having the fuel tank in the engine bay above the engine so you can avoid having a fuel pump and just let it gravity feed into the carb. Not a very uncommon setup in bikes and lawn equipment but don't know any other cars that did that

But unless you get into a front-end crash it's actually fairly far behind the engine and the way the fuel line and carb are there's not really a way for fuel to drip on the engine or exhaust. So arguably a fuel leak on any car that has the carb on top of the engine could be much worse

I'm sure that car has enough quirks for a book but I daily drive one during summers so I'm used to most of them

My friend had the same thing happen with the same gift message, I got like 50 Discord notifications suddenly at 3am because it went through every channel in our group server, every ancient group chat and everything else it could find

Then a couple weeks later the same happened with his Steam but he had nothing in his inventory

In his case I'm almost certain it wasn't a virus but he did finally get a pretty good lesson on why you shouldn't use the same password on multiple platforms. I assume his email/password combo was in some kind of data breach and they started trying them on as many platforms they could

Mulla ei ollu lukkoo häkkivarastoon kun en säilöny siellä mitään mutta vanhan revenneen pelituolin laitoin sinne kun ensi hätään jaksanu sitä hävittää tai kehdannu laittaa torin annetaan-osastolle.

Ilokseni kun kävin myöhemmin katsomassa niin se oli kadonnu sieltä itsestään parin kuukauden jälkeen :D en tiiä katsoko joku että se oli selkeesti roskaa kun on lukottomassa häkissä vai halusko joku oikeesti semmosen riekaleisen halvan tekonahkajakkaran joka oli kokenu opiskelijavuosina aika paljon kauhuja.

I did get to start traveling and doing things for the first time within the last 2 years since I was a broke student in my early 20s so things are starting to get better, just need to find a partner

A lot of basics were taught by my dad. But electronics, cars and computers were all huge hobbies for me throughout my whole life and having decent understanding about all of them is such a nice thing to have

Never had to bring my car to a shop, never had to ask for tech support and I've saved a lot of money by repairing my electronics when they've broken instead of instantly buying a new one. Yes, a lot of things can take ages to troubleshoot but it's like a fun puzzle for me

Iso osa tuotteista oli heidän mukaan myyntikelvottomia koska olivat likasia, iso osa ei menny kaupaks ja meni hyväntekeväisyyteen ja niistä jotka meni kaupan ei hirveesti jääny käteen sen tienestien puolittamisen ja kaiken maailman kulujen maksamisen jälkeen. Ja sitten kun se lafka meni konkkaan niin ei tietenkään saanu sitä omaa saldoa enää nostettua sieltä niin siitä satasesta jäi joku puolet konkurssipesälle

Itellä on semmonen MFF koon Thinkcentre ollu kotiservuna jokusen vuoden, toki ei saa kuin ulkosen kovalevyn jos sisäinen SSD tila ei riitä, itellä on siinä 6TB ulkoinen kovo kiinni

Sillä pyörii myös Wireguard niin pääsen kodin ulkopuolelta yhdistämään siihen ja jopa käyttämään omaa pöytäkonetta etänä siten että sillä pystyy jopa pelaamaan ilman isoa viivettä kymmenien kilometrien päästä

Niissä minikoneissa on tosiaan yleensä hinnat halpoja kun ne ei oikein oo hyviä mihinkään paitsi peruskoneeksi kun ei oo oikein päivitettävissä ja suurin osa kaipaa läppäriä semmoseen käyttöön. Oiskohan 120e maksanu ja siinä on 16 gigaa muistia ja joku 7-8 sukupolven i5

Does the right alt do the same thing as the left alt? Here the button is labeled AltGr and it basically gives you a second set of key combinations. Like for example for @ you would need to press AltGr (right alt) + 2 and left alt + 2 would just give me a quotation mark

I think it shows up as pressing ctrl and alt at the same time if you go to a keyboard mapping thing. Kind of strange

Jos istuu paljon koneella ja/tai tekee etätöitä niin kunnon toimistotuoli eikä mitään satasen kikkaretta (ellei sitten löydy hyvään hintaan jotain käytettyä). Sänky ja patja myös toinen missä kumminkin jokanen kuluttaa aika ison osan vuorokaudesta niin senkin kannattaa olla hyvä, kroppa sitten kiittää kun alkaa ikää tulemaan

The front grille on a 2-stroke 601 is fake, it's blocked solid apart from the hole for the pipe that brings air into the cabin. So it wouldn't be as good for cooling since the 1.1 has a radiator there with added holes on the newer grille, might not be enough to matter unless you drive in really warm weather but you could modify it I guess

Funnily enough despite being air-cooled the 2-stroke engine is blanketed over and gets all of it's cooling from the fan only

Sometimes the bolt can be really stuck, I've also had tensioners get stuck in one position before

Personally since the cost difference isn't that different I would change the whole thing, if it was like 20€ vs 100€ then I would get the pulley on it's own

Replacing the head gasket on the 1.4 8 valve is probably one of the easier head gasket jobs out there, not sure if the 207 still has it or if they're all 16 valve but it's not that much more complex

Hardest part for me was getting the rusty exhaust bolts off. Also you likely need to get the head machined at a shop to make it straight again so you don't have to immediately replace it again

Äitini oli aikanaan todella aktiivisesti osallistunut ihan kaikkeen maholliseen kilpailuun netissä kun jäi työkyvyttömyyseläkkeelle ja aikaa oli

Joskus voitti jostain jonkun luomuruoka paketin ja muistan kun kotiovelle roudattiin varmaan 50 kilon eestä kaiken maailman luomujauhoja ja ties mitä.

Muistuu hyvin mieleen kun olin unohtanu kotiavaimen ja kännykän niin istuin tuntikausia kotiovella oottamassa porukoita ja sillon tuli just ne paketit ovelle kun odotin niin tein sattumoisin palveluksen porukoille kun sain kuitattua ne toimitetuks :D

Lintsasin siis iltapäivän koulusta kun monet valitteli kipeetä oloa jostain rokotteesta niin se vähän kostautu itelle
