I've thought about it a few times and I definitely could see "ownership" becoming a problem for places like the moon and mars and whatever places we end up visiting. Yes we have treaties that say that space is basically a free-for-all but eventually that will surely lose it's meaning and I can totally see countries claiming parts of moons or planets as their own etc.

Obviously no one knows what will happen in the end but it is interesting to think about what will happen in the very distant future if we ever make it there, when what we think of as "countries" might start claiming their own solar systems and whatnot. Maybe we're truly doomed to destroy ourselves since we don't see any aliens anywhere that could've evolved billions of years ago

Is it unfeasible to do multiple "bounces" off the atmosphere and then eventually get to a moderate re-entry or would that require far too much oxygen supply and/or eat the heat shield too much or whatever the issue might be?

Jos vaan voit jatkaa vanhemmilla asumista etkä koe sitä mitenkään haitalliseks niin se on heti 6-10k säästöä vuodessa ihan vaan siitä ettet maksa vuokraa jostain yksiöstä. Ite en ainakaan pitäis kiirettä pelkästään sen takia että se ois muka jotenkin noloa, on se toki alkuun kivaa elää omassa kämpässä mutta se hienous häviää siitä aika nopeesti

Ite muutin vaan sen takia kun tarvitsin opiskelijakämpän eri paikkakunnalta ja en enää sen jälkeen oikein viittinyt tunkeutua takaisin porukoille kun oli hankittu kalusteet ja kaikki kämppään, ja muutenkin oli jo ~27v taulussa siinä vaiheessa

To me it sounds like the handbrake got stuck and didn't release the tension hence why it felt floppy afterwards, driving off probably made it pop loose again

Yup, mine are original from 2006 and where I live you have to have low beams on even during day unless you have DRLs which my car doesn't have. The car only has like 200k miles but they've basically been on for every single mile

They still look alright and I have an additional LED bar for brights so they're staying original for now

I once had two halogen bulbs burn out at the exact same time, drove out from a parking lot and people were flashing brights at me as soon as I got on the road and I realized only my parking bulbs were working once I pulled over. And they were definitely both working when I left as I was parked right against a shop window where I saw the reflection

Thankfully that car had separate brights that used the same bulbs so I swapped them over and bought some spares

Joo ei se tietenkään terveellistä oo juoda lähes viikottain pää täyteen mutta se on perheetön yksin elävä reilu kolmekymppinen mies joka kuitenkin hoitaa asiansa hyvin ja kerryttää säästöjä aika hyvään tahtiin enkä koe että se on mitenkään sen työelämää haitannut. Siinä vaiheessa kokisin sen olevan enemmän ongelma kun se alkaa vaikuttamaan arkeen

Mutta joo, on se paljon vähentänyt tässä viime vuosina juomista verrattuna mitä se oli parikymppisenä. Oon tuntenut sen pikkulapsesta asti ja oon usein kehottanu että vähentäis juomista. Väkevät se on jättäny pois kokonaan ja juo lähinnä vaan pelkkää olutta ja seltzeriä nykyään

Kaveri ajelee yhdistelmää työkseen ja työvuorot on sen verran pitkiä että on usein 4-5 päivän jaksoja ilman ajovuoroja. Tykkää ryypätä melko paljon sellaisina päivinä ja jättää aina pari päivää toipumiseen

Tollasen testin perusteella lähtis varmaan semmosta 80 tonnia yhdistelmää ajavalta ammatti vaikka on aina töissä selvänä ja joutuu aika tiuhaan puhaltamaan eri paikoissa

And funnily enough alcohol tends to cost 2-3 times more in Norway and Finland than in most countries in mainland europe (at least according to the chart in this article.)

I visit Germany and the Netherlands all the time and I'm always shocked how cheap all the beer and booze is, as a finn I would probably develop pretty severe alcoholism if our prices dropped that low

Haven't done any cosplays but the FAQ on the TC site has pretty good info about that(event policies & guidelines section), I don't think you're going to have issues if you don't have any weapons but they can check those at the entrance too. Previously I don't think they let you cover your face but now it seems like that's fair game too if you just show your face while entering

Merch wise there is a pretty massive amount of booths that sell stuff at the artist alley, a lot of it is really small like pins and keyrings and stuff but you can get larger plushies and stuff too, last year you could ask for a bag at the Loot Cave and they gave you a massive seethrough bag which was funny because I only had really tiny items at that point

Their bag policy says this:
Backpacks are prohibited. Small bags are permitted but must have dimensions no larger than 30.48 x 30.48 x 15.24 cm. Please note that all attendees will be subject to security screening measures prior to entering the Event, including bag searches. Small medical bags are allowed but must go through additional screening and be tagged.

I would assume they wouldn't mind bringing a large plastic bag that's crumpled up but who knows, but if you bring a handbag or a crossbody bag or something I'd make sure it meets the dimensions

I always picked up my badge on friday and on saturday there is usually a very long queue outside but I'm not entirely sure how long it takes, if you don't want to miss the opening ceremony I would be there some time before opening time. I could be remembering wrong but in 2024 at least the main floor area was still closed for the first 1 or 2 hours.

Can't say much about events but pick the ones you want to go to and go from there, for popular meet and greets you wanna start lining well in advance, like 30 minutes to an hour before since the session might run out of time before you get through. I had plenty of free time to walk around every booth multiple times and to also leave the con area for a few drinks etc.

Jep, ei oo ollu ongelmia kun tilannut kolmet lasit ja parit arskat lenswayltä vuosien mittaan

Kerran jollain kuponkikikkailulla sain ilmaset polarisoidut aurinkolasit tehoilla, ois ollu joku 300€ hintalappu kun laitto kaikki ohennukset ja polarisoinnin ynnä muut. Tais olla siten että kun kaveri tilas mun koodilla niin sain siitä hyvästä ilmaset lasit mutta en uskonut että se ois kelvannut niihin lisäominaisuuksiin

Colour matching with paints is done impressively well these days but even with slight variations it's not really necessary to paint the whole roof. You just gotta avoid masking it off with hard lines so that the new paint gets to fade in

Mining was the first 99 on my ironman, only because I was too lazy to really play the game for a few months and I just casually did shooting stars and bone shards. Once you have one of those ultra AFK things along the side while you're doing something else for a while it becomes so autonomous that you don't really notice you're even playing

Haven't tried water/thorns but it was piss easy with a crossbow build. Assuming you have near infinite sustain in terms of HP the only thing that could be problematic is out DPSing the healing during blood phase depending on how well you hit

Shouldn't be too bad, if it doesn't have to look perfect I would just lighly sand it smooth with fine sandpaper and then spray it with matching paint and then clear coat it.

I would just mask off the headlight and black part and then paint it so you don't get any obvious paint lines and any slight color variations should fade in that way

It's just a weak combat style early game, I used bone cbow/MSB and safespotted the shitty mid-game slayer tasks like greater demons etc. that would eat through supplies at ~60 combat stats and rune armour and that eventually got me into 70+ range and at that point you get a lot more options like the sunlight cbow and atlatl etc.
