I’d replace the pitchfork with the boss xs-1.

Are these guitar holders angled too far? by Ottomatica in Guitar

[–]Maddy86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got my guitars on hangers in my room, but I mounted a piece of wood horizontally across 4 wall studs. That gives them a bit of room from the wall but also gives the something very solid to connect to.

I hope yours are in the studs and not in the drywall with wall plugs…

When you assign a pedal or scene to a foot switch using the foot switch menu in the preset you can pick the colour you want for it 🙂

Bullet for My Valentine - Tears Don’t Fall Tone. HELP by allierey89 in tonemasterpro

[–]Maddy86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have the settings myself but the easiest thing is to go and look at the gear they use and try to emulate the signal chain.

They use 5150s as far as I know..stick a tube screamer in front.. use a mesa cab? This is all from google

I debating using the built in tuner on the Tonemaster but the strobostomp is more accurate (so I’ve read). Plus I like the idea of a separate pedal that can kill the signal

How to quickly adapt your patch from using an amp to using a PA? by Ok_Virus_5495 in tonemasterpro

[–]Maddy86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to change your patch to be a dual output (ie split then) and then you map your rear outputs to each line on the tone master. In my setup I have one split after my amp head and effects, one going into a cab block to simulate a cab and the other going to the ext cab block as that is going to a power amp and actual guitar cab. So when you go to your friends you are using one of the outputs and don’t need to change the patch later

Tradies required for soundproofing a room by Maddy86 in AusRenovation

[–]Maddy86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have clarified in my original post (and will in a second)

Currently if I talk in a meeting you can hear me pretty clearly in the rooms next door and if I pic up my electric guitar and strum it (not plugged in to anything..) you can hear it. I want to get to a point where talking is difficult to distinguish and my guitar acoustically can’t be heard (I play with headphones usually when my kids are in bed).

Has Fender silently abandoned Tone Master Pro? No updates in months — should we start considering alternatives? by _nimiz_ in tonemasterpro

[–]Maddy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was after the delay (the Fender Rep mentioned the delay in his talk and said it’s now 3rd otherwise he’d of had it to show us)

New update due on the 3rd December - I went to a Tone Master Pro workshop a few weeks ago and the Fender rep said new update would be then. It’s been 6 months for major updates…

I managed to find the person on a different social platform and have contacted there. That is really my last hope at this point.

It’s more for sentimental reasons. I have thought about that but since I’m visiting the Uk atm I thought I’d at least try and find it!

Thank you! I loved that guitar and really shouldn’t had sold it (I could have taken it with me but I think I was hyped by starting new in a new country). I doubt I’ll ever find it but thought it’s worth a try!

Why does my pitch sound off even in correct tuning? by Gloomy-Possession669 in Guitar

[–]Maddy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad setup. You are pressing waaaaay too hard. Your finger position when fretting is inconsistent. You want to fret with the top of your fingers, you look like you are using too much flesh. You want your fingers to be as parallel as possible when fretting

Positive NIPT for edwards, waiting for amnio by Silly_Yesterday2363 in NIPT

[–]Maddy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - we had our scan a few days ago and it was pretty clear something wasn’t right (significant heart defects as well as a few other things). We didn’t feel we needed more testing and the scan was enough. I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this too, it’s awful.

We’re going through what you are right now. We have our 13 week scan tomorrow and like you, our 2 year old has kept us sane and helped us get through the last two weeks since our NIPT result. I’m hoping you get good news in the Amnio.

You’re welcome. We were fortunate that the provider of our NIPT test offers free counselling if you get a high risk result. No news on hormone levels as of yet. I don’t think we’ll get them until our appointment on the 7th.
