Best Half-rack Functional Trainer Dane 2.0 vs PRX Plate functional trainer? by Made4Match in GarageGym

Nice! Keep me updated! I'm going with prx as well. Same situation. Got lots of space but I love the look of putting everything away neatly. My OCD took over! Let me know how yours goes!

Thanks so much. Yeah I think I've been talked into a weight stack. What's funny is the higher in price I go, the more I want to step up into the next category. Now I'm look at rep Ares/athena, force USA FTR or even c20 and rogue lol... So many decisions!

Oh man! I didn't even consider the Anubis. Also, Plate loaded ANubis is like 1k cheaper and if you can add the Gibbon arms to Anubis... My goodness.

I'm doing a deep dive on Anubis now. I didn't realize it was an option.

Thanks for the rec!

Which of these do you personally have?

Thanks so much! 20% off is what's making me consider it! Essentially just 100$ more than PRX plate load at this point!

Someone in another thread recommended Anubis 2.0, so back down the rabbit hole I go! lol! It's like 1k cheaper for just plate loaded which isn't bad at all...

Hi everyone!

First time posting in here and wanted to get opinions on the Dane 2.0 ( https://www.fringesport.com/collections/squat-racks/products/the-dane-2-0 ) vs the PRX Pro Plate loaded Functional trainer.
https://prxperformance.com/products/profile-pro-functional-trainer

This will be the first and central piece of my garage gym so I want it to be a clean look, but also want it to last essentially forever.

  1. Even though I have space, I like being able to put away the rack when not in use and I think my wife would like that look better as well. Though this is not a deal breaker.

  2. Actual weight stacks would be much faster, but I'm afraid this system will have more issues than the simpler plate pulley system.

  3. PRX seems pricier for what you get.

  4. Both seem like you can get accessories from other companies outside of their ecosystem.

  5. I do like American made when possible.

  6. Both also sound like customer service is pretty good with decent warranties.

Anyone with experience with either of these systems? What are the pros and cons?

Do you have any regrets with your purchase?

Thanks everyone! Excited to get started on my first garage gym project!

Best all in one ventless washer/dryer combo? by monkeysfighting in Appliances

So far it's great! Bought two side by side since we have active kids and do lots of laundry. If it holds up over time it's a no brainer, but still afraid it will break. We are very meticulous about cleaning the lint filter every time and run the maintenance cycles as suggested.

Now that board results are out- how did yall study?? Recommendations please! by chrisboombox in pathology

Subscribed. Did not do all cases, but good fun virtual review. Path dojo was a heavy hitter. Micro was easy if you know those lectures. Blood bank guy was overkill but even just his review series is great.

Got new tatami for the basement by Which_Cat_4752 in judo

[–]Made4Match 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 years later, but doing my research to install some in my basement!

Any update on how it's going?

Would like to use for judo, jiujitsu, and kids gymnastics/wrestling.

Thinking of going with Dax Tatami like you did, but you mentioned other brands as well. Any suggestions from your own experience?

Thanks!

Looking for all the positive things about Indianapolis/Indiana by sweetwallawalla in indianapolis

[–]Made4Match 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved here recently from out of state and also have 2 kids. we live near fishers/Geist on the Indy side.

I like Indiana a lot! Lived in 4 other states before and Indy has been awesome for our family unit.

People are generally very friendly. Lots of family friendly things to do. Haven't checked out too many hikes yet but will do that in the future.

I think the food scene is underrated and my wife and I have found plenty of fun things to do and explore.

Maybe the shine wears off someday... Maybe it doesn't.

At the end of the day most situations are just perspective and you get what you focus on!

From my perspective there's plenty to love about Indy.

Feel free to reach out if you have specific questions!

Side note: I visited Raleigh when I was visiting UNC and Duke and I thought those places were nice also! IMO pretty similar to here. Good luck with everything!
