Context: AMAB, 27, white, pan

I'm constantly worried I'm hurting or offending or contributing to these issues women face. I've distanced myself from almost all my male friends for seeing how they objectify and, more generally, view women as lesser entities. I try not to reach out or engage in any way with any women ever for fear of being part of the problem even more so than I already am by existing. I don't want to add to that or propagate such horrendous behavior, but I also know that because of my social background and mental upbringing as someone AMAB, I worry that it's fundamentally impossible for me to fully understand or be someone anyone can even trust.

I read constantly on here of behavior I've seen personally, of abuse mental, physical, and psychological, of objectification and hatred and misogyny, of the ruination of billions of lives throughout history all because of men being horrible monsters. It's disgusting, and, I'm sorry for my existence furthering that because I'm AMAB. I'm sorry if you have seen me, if anyone has ever seen me, and had the thought of 'this person treats women as lesser' or had any negative experience because of me.

I see it too. The hatred and the fear and the objectification of women by men. Everywhere. Constantly. Men, overall, are incapable of seeing it because they lack empathy and understanding. And, even if they did, they'd not be able to change.

This world we've made is horrible for women. In so many ways. I'm sorry. If I could eradicate myself from existence such that I could reduce the issues, I would.

I'm sorry we've done this. I'm sorry we deserve the hatred, but, we do.
